oh my i love Jacks so much. My darling Mavis died in my arms 16th December 2023 - aged 19 1/2 years old. if you want a Jack Russell you must train them for the whole families sake - and theirs - they are super smart and fast. when that's over you will have the most loyal and laugh a minute big personality dog in a small package. i miss Mavis and am not quite ready for another yet. Blessings to all true dog lovers.
Yes, Jacks are so special. I'm so sorry to hear of your Mavis. Losing a cherished companion after sharing nearly two decades of life together is an immeasurable loss. Sounds like Mavis lived a long and happy life, which is certainly a reflection of the love and devotion she received from her human family. 💙
I’m hurting for you, the way that you speak of Mavis lets me know that your bond was extremely strong. I hope that what I say won’t make you sadder but my comfort comes from knowing that my babies are in their little urns and I still speak as though they are here. The grief is gut wrenching but we all manage to return to the thoughts of joy when they were alive. Hang in there, it will be okay someday.
For the pawrents who have never had the privilege of living with a Jackie, they would assume that this dog has behavioral problems. I’m here to tell you that this is very, very incorrect. Our Jacks are so full of love💝💚🩵🤍🩷💙💛it cannot be measured. Once they move beyond the typical puppy stage (on steroids), you will find that they love us unconditionally albeit they have unique ways of showing it. I have only one left at this moment in time but I am still always looking for another one.

Those were good long years for a dog. Hope my Jack Russell lives longer.
Just like my Oscar. Everyone says who doesn’t know him “Oh, he’s so cute.” I say “He is, until he’s not.” 😂
Haha! Love the name Oscar.
My, Henry had a lot say‼️. Then, at the end, a final growl, like he was saying, "So let that be a lesson for you" LOL 🐾🐕❤️
Haha! He often makes those cute little growling sounds and I absolutely love it! 🥰
He is a jack russell 😍
