Thank you so much for sharing your workflow and pipeline. It does look simple but I am sure you spent quite a bit of time investigating, debugging and testing before getting this final result. Sharing is caring, thank you so much!
I'd love to see an art side of the pipeline. Something I've been thinking about for example is how you're putting environments together. It makes sense to me when adding Props but how are the actual environments created and textured. For example the actual architecture of a kitchen such as walls/benches/floor would be different to adding a table and chair. It makes sense to me how you would separate modeling a chair and adding it but not exactly sure about the room itself. Not sure if that ramble made a lot of sense but I guess it doesn't make sense in my head either 😂
Thanks for the demo/rundown. Seems like a great workflow for Tiki. I'm curious about the cost of running all this. Seafile is open source but Kitsu and Prism are not. Will it cost a production around $40 per person per month for the pipeline?
Kitsu you can get for free. Same for seafile. For Prism you can also get a free version but you will need to pay if you want to be able to talk to Kitsu. Cost nothing for Tiki. Sponsored :-)
Yeaaa🎉, this is awesome, keep it up. I wanna ask, is there something simpler than kitsu to manage projects? As I read in one of the comments that you had a friend set it up for you.
I'd love for a tutorial about how to install kitsu on windows. I gave up because there wasn't a clean install process. Everything required new dependencies and so I'd install those and they had new things I had to install which in turn required new things. It was filling my hard drive up with all this junk and I was never able to get it working. It's hard to ask for help because so many online are rude and assume you are an idiot if you don't understand something or don't have the same knowledge about the same subjects as they do.
@@zetrocadartse646 I think that's one option I tried which kept making me install more and more things to get working. I wish it just had a normal self-contained install file for us solo artists who don't want to need a tech degree just to make art.

Hi@@BlenderBob What do you use for the storybroad ? You know Blender has a built in add on called STORY PENCIL here th-cam.com/video/eH0c8dxiwtI/w-d-xo.html
You are a true hero. Seafile can also be swapped with Nextcloud (depending on your working ENV)

Took about a day or two to figure it out.
@blenderbob Amazing as always! Kitsu is the tool I´m looking for! is great for small architectural studios pipeline!

I'll write my thanks again just because how thankfull i feel.
Thanks a lot for this video, it's sooo much help
thank you for showing your pipeline!
Good on you for running through it :O)
Did you try similar solutions to seafile like Next Cloud or Own Cloud that are more popular? what made you chose seafile in the end?
Recommend by a friend of mine. Seafile did exactly what I needed. Saw some good reviews on the net too
very good video to learn about the professionalization of the pipeline, I wonder if there are any of these pipeline tools for video games
No idea. I don’t know the steps for video games but you could probably adapt everything. It’s all customizable
Thank you for sharing. Happy to see your pipeline running with a Mac. Do you build your render farm and could you share how?
Prism doesn’t work on Mac. :-/
Seafile is especially interesting,as you can use an own server. Security thing. I just wonder how good encryption is.
This was awesome! Thank you so much! Does kitsu and prism integrate with final draft?
I have no idea.

You could just use Prism. Obviously not as powerful as kitsu. It’s one is the IT guys at the company who installed Kitsu.
@@BlenderBob Thank you bob

I wish I could help. Too complicated for me too. I had the sys admin from Real by FAKE doing it for me.
There is a docker version.
Docker is a way to containerize apps, which is like a virtualization that only uses what is necessary to run the app

Third time's the charm! I *think* it's fine now. You also rebalanced the audio, right?
Also, this looks like a great workflow
I only got to see it one time.

Thanks for spotting the errors. I did add one special frame though in the last version just for the kick of it.

Finally! Someone saw it
Is Kitsu free or not??
Both. There’s a free version but you won’t get any support from them.
