At first I thought this video was just a compressed version of a life in dayz. The more I think about it, it's really a case study in how dayz thrusts strangers into strangely intimate situations, allowing for a camaraderie that's sorely lacking from many other games.
Also, the section beginning at 22:00 would stand well on it's own - and was very well produced.

This is why DayZ is the best game, it's got so many dimensions to it.
I've spent hours talking to people I'd never otherwise meet, roamed Chernarus with them, died and never met them again.
It's a brutal game but with a strange beauty to it.
Fells like the game finally is what the devs always wanted it to be, but with even more to come

Was a good video. Just the type of runs I like to go on. Meeting new friends, meeting enemies, survival, looting and death. I sadly mainly come across the enemies and death mostly lol
Amazing story and the near death part in the container was awesome! But lesson taken from this, always stick together when you playing with someone that is not so familiar with the environment :) I keep on making that mistake, thinking they are navigation god's and they put many hours in to the game and know every building xD

I met an awesome dude last night.
We met by hospital because we both needed some tetracycline. I was like don't shoot bro. and he was like nah nah I won't. But you either lol. Long story short. We ran together for like an hour towards his base. When we were about 10 min away he goes
"Hey. I have to tell you something. Remember when I had to go mute for a few minutes? Welllll.....my crew wants to trick you into thinking they're cool, and then kill you when you're in the base..and I can't let you go out like that."

Under every tree inside a property, so like inside the fence around a house, there's trees, and almost all of them have food under them. You ran through a bunch to get that pig. Easiest way to eat, by far
