@Sceez- NOW we're talking. I adore Kalandra. They are a group of Swedish & Norwegian musicians & singers. Nordic folk music with a bit of a modern touch. Melodic and Etherial... just moving and beautiful. Voices of the Angels. Or the mythological Sirens... depending on how you look at it. Perhaps BOTH. Thanks for this @Sceez. 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for reacting to Kalandra. They are so little known. That vid makes you want to travel to Norway... Waiting Game is another decent song of theirs.
I'm German and Swedish so my Scandinavian roots may make me biased... but you can't deny the beauty of the sounds of Kalandra. Unless you're a hater. That goes to Hater Conventions. Drinks Hater-Aid with your fellow Haters. And have Hater Babies, continuing the vicious Hater Cycle... as Big Slime would say. 😒_🤣😂😏💀
@Sceez- The video looks a lot like it was filmed in Norway or Sweden. This song is about confronting your mortality in the face of the awesome power of the forces of the world and nature itself. The massiveness of the ocean, rugged mountains, ancient caves etc- all metaphors for the beauty AND ruthlessness of the natural world. The fire a metaphor for the spirit of survival in spite of them whilst acknowledging it's majesty and also having a healthy respect for said forces and realities. And moreover the reality of the eventuality of death- which is the overall message. Deeply spiritual song, in the Nordic tradition. So glad you enjoyed it Big Slime. 😏🤘
I’m not 100% sure but it looks like the setting could be Iceland (possibly because of the Black Sand, as there is a lot of black sandy beaches there) not sure if they have the same thing in Norway or anywhere else in Scandinavia
vocoder, is it ? if you like travelling to Norway or nordic countries and beautiful artists, well you should have a glance to Eivor Palsdottir .... let's start with her 'Falling Free' rendition live
One of my favorite tunes. Thank you for your reaction
That voice is so beautiful ❤

Okay done a bit of research and it was filmed in Norway, as said I wasn’t 100% sure as I didn’t realise they also had black sandy beaches..

No vocoder on this whatsoever.
Lots and Lots of vocoder on this. Layered with actual voices. She plays the vocoder herself live :)
