Its raspy because it’s a N/A 4 cylinder, a supercharged car will act the same way since it’s belt driven and not air. A turbo charger quiets the car down a lot due the fact that the air has to go through a lot more space to exit the exhaust and there’s a lot more components in a turbo charged system like bov/dv and wastegates to let the air go else where
not if its a big single turbo, shits loud as fuck.

ive been watching a lot of these different exhaust videos... something that i find a lot is, if you want a quiet exhaust, most people leave the overpipe and the front pipe alone - catback and headers seem to be enough for tone, depth, rasp, and then anything else on top like a resonator delete, or front pipe/overpipe is where the loud loud comes from
that being said, this sounds amazing

Just did the install with a mate last weekend. These headers have a fantastic sound, but yeah, they're bloody loud!
I've noticed a lot of sound reverberating in the cabin which rattles your ears. Is this an issue for you?
Mine too, I have catless Tomei front pipe, header and overpipe, straight midpipe and silenced muffler... It's raspy and so damn loud also inside the cabin! At High revving sounds good but at 2000/3000 rpm or under 5000 rpm ,while cruising it's a bit annoying. I'm looking for a silenced midpipe and double silenced hks or a ultra quiet jdl front pipe

I think hot rodders and tuners should consider moving away from loud and noisy exhausts especially on low hp cars. What's the point honestly? Spent a lot of money on very little gains if any and it just sounds really loud - that's it. You would of been better off installing nitrous and leaving the factory exhaust because then it would actually go and not sound obnoxious while still being slow. Not trying to talk shit bro just .... Isn't this obvious?
It became the most hated probably because UEL manifolds/headers sound like crap. EL sounds way more fine tuned. And it's slow and ugly with that camber.

Awesome! Quick question, I have almost the same set up as you, except I have the N1. However on cold starts it’s not loud at all, also sounds very airy. Thought it was the gasket from the front to mid pipe, so I got a new gasket. Still can’t figure it out, should I just buy new gaskets all around?

Hey bro you connect the header to frontpipe first before you tightened the header? Or did you tighten the header and then connect the front pipe to it? Also a lot of people hear a whooshing air sound with this header just wondering if your experiencing it as well?
