Well there, I was not aware a McGowan had been a lighthouse keeper on partridge island. Makes me wonder how close a relative he would be to me....

Irving Corp. owns Saint John and its people.

Saint John like NB, is the epitome of a captured state situation in modern times, in which a family essentially takes over making policy for government. It's a fact that every politician knows that if you want a long career, you need to cozy up to the Irvings. After all it is the only “Company Province” in Canada, which has been quite a detriment to this province especially Saint John.

This is a nice video. May I suggest a better title for it; it doesn't do the informative video justice; also the correction of the Spelling of Saint John may help.

Glad you enjoyed it. That's the title I got. used the spelling on file. Let's go with Saint John then :)

@@nickolasgyrlevich4767 it was officially changed way earlier then that lol the powers that be were not consistent in the old days on record keeping so now we have this great debate on our name. it also does not help there are other cities in Canada with names close to ours as well.....

Changed in the 1800s so as not to be confused with St. Jean, Quebec.
