Nothing is going to be fun anymore as long as kids and adults alike continue to grow and get better with muscle memory and gameplay. I’m the end it’ll all end up a sweat fest that will lead to the demise of gaming itself. That’s why they’re trying to advertise VR gear so we can actually be active while doing it.

It’s true from what I’ve played so far
As a whole, these concepts sound great. 14 maps is a nice start, the roster of characters looks diverse with different playstyles and abilities. Gameplay does look fluid, but I'll still wait for some analytics from players. F2P is the big seller with crossplay and no pay to win.

Solid gunplay with a slightly longer ttk then cod, just needs balancing with some gor the abilities, but overall it's pretty fun
That M16A4 looks like the M16 from CoD4 and I am very impressed. Also the Times Square map looks like a copy & paste from D1. Honestly excited for the game. Its about time CoD has competition

Devs have confirmed that there's no sbmm in casual matchmaking, they actually give af and seem to know what fun is.

Old black ops 1,2,3 were the best games! I hope this is just as good or better. Modern COD just sucks, and on PC, is completely broken. Mouse input is a joke.

As someone who has stopped playing Cod because they care more about the Battle Royale than the Multiplayer, this looks promising.
Absolutely stoked for the game. Server stability issues aside, this is some of the most fun I've had in a first person shooter in recent years.
We need more factions. You guys could just put the faction from The Division or something else from your other game that fits well.
Despite the connectivity issue, it's one of the fun games I've ever played since 2020

I'm very hyped for xDefiant! The beta was fun and has a lot of the things that CoD is missing today.
Tried to get into the beta with no luck. Looks cool I jut hope it's a smooth launch.
They really got the voice actress of the female player character from Fallout 4 to voice this lol, can recognize her voice from anywhere. Courtney Taylor is her name if I'm not mistaken.

Fresh off playing the beta for the first time and my GOD it's fun. Gunplay feels surprisingly smooth (especially for a beta), the abilities are super fun to use (especially if you figure out a fluid pattern to utilize them), and it's just overall fun!! I found myself enjoying it even more than COD multiplayer as the abilities added an entertaining twist to the gameplay I didn't know I needed. As it stands right now I love this game and I really hope it finds a strong player base on launch.
I haven’t played the beta, but I’m getting this on day 1. COD on pc is just pure broken!
Loved the alpha, looking forward to it! Hopefully it will grow a solid playerbase, unlike Hyper Scape.

This game's graphics and gameplay reminds me A LOT of the old CoD games. I'm looking forward to trying it out! :D
So I have gotten the access codes and I downloaded xdefiant to play for the beta test server apparently do not get it because I was wanted to play it on my old Gen Xbox where it clearly says you can play it and then once I download it it says 313 MB instead of 50 GB so clearly Ubisoft does not know how to understand the probability of their data files management system

why does this remind me a lot of "tom clancy's ghost recon phantoms". i still remember that cloak ability and the dome ability which look pretty much the same here
literally the resemblance to dirty bomb or Shatterline is uncanny. but better gunplay and mouse feel, seeing its a bigger studio compare to an indie.

After uninstalling COD, I need something to play. This looks great.
I'm glad they moved away from their previous aesthetic. This feels much more like a game I want to play, even though the game probably hasn't changed all that much.
It features factions comprised of characters inspired by some of my fav Ubisoft franchises and I had fun with the closed beta. That's all I needed. No need for reviews or trend waves of bandwagon groupthink.

hey guys you should really think of a mode without specialists... I work almost all the day and I have like 3 hours to play only, so I would like to just run and gun. I don't want to learn specialists or stuff, just killing some enemies in a normal moden then leave for the next day, with some challenges here and there to keep me hooked, that's all I ask, thank you very much

I just heard "realistic gunplay"... At this point I think writers are thinking "unrealistic" gun fights are in roblox guns and realistic guns considered to be laser guns

I suck at shooters, so I feel the issue with trying to have fun playing an fps is that even in the “casual” games most people are trying very hard and just looking to pub stomp. So for those of us who need a legitimately casual game, I don’t think any PvP shooter will do it. The game looks fun, but as soon as people get good at it, the fun ends for those of us who can’t play for hours a day.
Take your time and dont rush it. This game needs alot of work.

Game looks good. Fast paced and fun. Everything that activision has removed from cod to shrink the skill gap..this game welcomed with open arms. Pumped for it.
