I do wish I purchased one a while ago. Or the one at apmex about a 1 year ago that was cheap and I waited then it sold. They caught on and you can't find one with them for cheap anymore. McKinley on it is rad. He's also on my National I just shared! Glad you scored brother!
Beautiful note bro! I have YET to own a 1934 $500 bill.. this is on my wish-list, I hope to get it one day. I'm looking for one in a decent grade and for the right price. It's such a shame you couldn't keep this note, it would've been a great addition to your collection.
It was too easy to sell and make a good profit on. I will get one someday already graded and nice. This one just wasn't for me. The LGS is a cool thing however. I'll probably go for that when I buy one.
Im buying as many as I can, 1000 and 500s as an investment i think they will hold and increase value over time. Am i right???? What do you guys think??
Personally I believe the market is at a bubble for them. Though rad notes there really isn'y anything rare about them per se. Mass produced, tons available in all grades, easily obtainable. The demand for them has shot up WAY too fast in my opinion to sustain over time. I could be wrong but this is my opinion. And not I'm not hating, like I said I'd love to own one of each.
It’s tough to say. They spiked so fast that it’s possible they are overvalued but who knows really they could stay high for years or come back down to the $700-$800 range
Hello. Good collection. Can I ask you a question please? Collecting old notes I started with 1980s bills, that I can tell is it real or fake just nail scratching dollar’s portrait. 20 dollar bill series 1950B could be also detected is it real or fake by “deep ink” scratching. So later I got series 1934 and 1928 condition XF VF 20 dollar bills, and I can’t really tell is it real, or not, because when I scratching the ink - I can’t feel any relief. Is it normal for series 1928 and 1934 money, or I’ve got fake bills? Also I would like to know if I will want to buy 500 or 1000 dollar bill, can I be sure that high denomination bill is real, if real bills got no relief on printing in the 1920s and 1930s even XF or UNC notes, just like a counterfeit bills?
Possibly the most underrated TH-cam channel

All I need in my collection is the $500 and the $1000 green seal, but wow can I get a price of how much you bought it for?
One like this can be found for $1200-$1400
