So nice to see great old school powerlifters who don't depend on all of the modern equipment (bench shirts) to do half the lifting for them and full range of motion, not 2" lock out WRs. This guy is the real deal.
John with a deadlift suit and wraps could probably pull the 242 strongman deadlift record at 210 bw. If John was 242 in a strongman comp he could pull 1000 prolly
Yup and also didn't Ed Coan compete in single ply?! Haack matches up to that or even DOES BETTER than that...completely RAW. All due respect to Ed of course, Haack is just another beast entirely...the new GOAT of powerlifting, i idolize him lmao
How does that math work? Are you simply dividing total by bodyweight? Ed coans 2400 @ 220 is higher in terms of Wilks. Strength does not increase linearly as you gain bodyweight.
The fact that he high bars is crazy, but also his little calves. That's usually an indicator that you won't be able to grow a lot of musculature. The man inspires us calflets.
@Samoht Still Lives!!!!!! Well he is saying the greatest he is not saying the strongest. Just saying he is going to take the record means nothing. Thy are in diff weightclasses Belkin is the best by far in hiss weightclass and going up 15kg in weight and transfering it all to strenght is not that easy. I read the discription btw. He is the best in his weightclass saying he is the greatest is a stretch he is on the way to become the greatest or one of them tho.
@Samoht Still Lives!!!!!! I do agree on that one i dont like sumo either i deadlift conventional myself. Never tried sumo in my life. I just lift in the gym tho because i like doing it.
@Samoht Still Lives!!!!!! his sumo isn't as bad as others by far. BTW haack said he'd pull sumo but his hips are in such a weird position where conventional feels like sumo to him vice versa
John holds the atwr total I 82.5kg and 90kg 90kg wrapped/raw atwr total Bench and deadlift record at 90kg Lightest lifter to ever total 1000kg Higher total then 100kg and 110kg classes. He’s no where near done either
To be fair 40kg isn't that big. Due to different biological size stuff a midget can't be julius maddox size and fat oercentage their frame can't support 4:4 250 or anything
Well yeah, Daniel Bell is the strongest in ABSOLUTE strength, Haack is the best in RELATIVE strength, though. Powerlifting is scored by Wilks, or by the newer scoring method "Dots"...and while Dan is still among like top 10 i think, Haack is easily #1 for raw with sleeves in ANY weight class.
Toshiki isnt even the best at his own sport...Haack EASILY is. Maybe if u brought up Lasha Talakhadze, but Toshiki aint no GOAT even if he is also a beast lmao
@@DaLooseGoose11 i talk about squats , not low shit bar squat of powerlifter jsjsjsjsjssjsj , toshiki lifted in squat 300 KG DEEP , when he went to college. Close the asshole xdddd

That's one impressive powerful man.
Best powerlifter pound for pound🖤
Pound for yound, wilks, dots, gl points... Record at 83 kg, 90, 100 and 110 weighin 90 kg xD
Absolutely!!
Surpass Coan and he's still young... Crazy!
He's almost 30
@@basicmeme1040 Isn’t he like 27?
Best powerlifter of all time

@Waldel Martell wdym fat helps.
@Waldel Martell granted it's not nearly as effective on the deadlift (way less effective for sumo pullers luckily John's conventional)
Super powerlifter 👏👏💪💪👍👍🌸
Crazy.
John Haack is METAL as fuck. \m/
Just to note. John has proportionally higher total relative to his weight class than what Ed Coan did at 220
Yup and also didn't Ed Coan compete in single ply?! Haack matches up to that or even DOES BETTER than that...completely RAW. All due respect to Ed of course, Haack is just another beast entirely...the new GOAT of powerlifting, i idolize him lmao

The boss
GOAT!
John Haack vs Ed Coan new school vs old school💪
The greatest would be Jesse Norris had not the injury.. oh well, we will never see him come back and hit his full potential
He would only be able to beat Haacks current numbers had he had a better training approach and went full enhanced
no
Best
just i think
wow
My man strong as fk 💪💯 how much he weighs again?? 215 or something?? Never mind just looked at video bio.. friggin 82.5 kg 🤔 181 pounds!!! Insane 😎
Currently he weighs 87 kg or 197 pounds
He walks around 220 but competes at 198
John competes in the 90kg class but is 100kg normally. He cuts weight before meets.
Brad castleberry looking good here
🙏👍

Ed Coan entered the chat
John wins because Ed weights more, while his comp total isn’t proportionally higher
@@M.J.D.R even with advanced tech and peds over time I don't think Ed beats john
Stefi Cohen ? Yuri Belkin ? Ed Coan ? What is his wilks score ? He can verry well be the strongest but the greatest is something different imo.

Bench and deadlift record at 90kg

He’s no where near done either
With a name like Haack, you might as well be good at squat
Poor atwood should be greatest tested
Everyones gangsta till a midget weighing 40kg does a 600kg total :) rip wilks record haha
To be fair 40kg isn't that big. Due to different biological size stuff a midget can't be julius maddox size and fat oercentage their frame can't support 4:4 250 or anything
Yeah with super limited ROM
He's very strong powerlifter but Daniel Bell is the strongest powerlifter, so imo Daniel Bell is the greatest powerlifter
Dan bell also weighs a lot more
@@LebronisgoodMJsuckz whatever how much he weighs, the real strenthgh is how much kg u can lift, not how much % of bw u can lift
@Midgeon Mac what
Too bad no one asked for your opinion
