Idk a lot of ppl have been making "op" builds but are really just abusing statusing the bosses right before 2nd phase im pretty sure

@@ayro0638 they Patched the stun but status effect still does damage based on the enemy HP thats why in DS1 people used bleed vs "infinite" HP hackers and thats why bleed/frost is soo powerfull endgame/PvP/Hackers in Elden ring
@@gohbro They used fall damage not bleed. Usually "infinite HP" users also had auto healing up, so bleed was never really the meta way to deal with it. Just force and a high ledge got the job done.

There was this bug where if you proc a status effect like right before a boss' second phase it either took 80% of their health or just straight up killed them. I think it was fixed though.

Probably because the status effect kept taking their health during the cutscene, and if you skipped it it did something or whatever.
Nearly everything in Elden Ring is OP. There are so many powerful weapons, weapon skills, spells, summons, status effects, and buffs. From really wanted to empower players this time and they delivered.
Empower players? More like appeal to casuls.

@@RestlessTheRED i do have to say, having only played the start of dark souls 2 years ago and now really loving eldin ring as a mage, either eldin rings a lot easier or ive gotten a lot better, im thinking the former, because even though ive played sekiro in the time between, eldin ring seems much too easy compared to dark souls to really live up to the challenge hype. Thats not to say thats bad, im actually really enjoying playing as a mage and im getting just about the right amount of challenge to be fun, and the mage build really scratches that power fantasy itch
@@noahjones9833 you should go back to the older titles, i’ve played bloodborne a little when it was during it’s climax phase, but i’ve recently went back and i’m halfway through and i’ve killed the bosses dying mostly once or twice

@@JackthAripper449 Yeah, it's called bow glitch. It's a little similar to the cannon glitch that was recently found in bloodborne so it wouldn't be surprising if there was a variation of it here.
There the one where you shoot great arrows but that isn't nearly as strong as cannon or bowglitch.

I’m about 50 hours in & just realized you can semi rapid fire the long bow. I was waiting for the full draw till I got desperate at the academy. You don’t do as much damage with a single hit but you’ll continuously hit dudes before they can shoot you.

Right after you fire just hit the button again. Don’t hold it just press it. It helps a lot when people are furring glintstone at you.
@@jjgarcia156 now you do have to do a normal draw at least once to start using the bow. Then after that you can be Robin Hood.

It’s called barrage weapon art for bow, the black bow is the only king bow with it it’s usually for short bows

yes there's a glitch where if you help somebody kill him but you die to malekith and then try to fight him in your world, you skip the beast clergyman and start with malekith at full health, it's super weird
Ive been stepping away from bleed and frost. Really ruins the experience when you "cheese" every boss. You cant really NOT call something OP when it includes either
I'd beg to differ, I've made some pretty bad bleed, frost, and bleed+frost builds💀
@@v.thirteen5504 1 of my favorite builds is Bloody Godslayer Stitcher + Frost phalanx Great epee. It's not super OP, but if you're facing someone with a light or medium build, you can stun lock them to death. Plus It's far more rewarding when you do get the win. I'll also have a buckler with golden Parry just in case.

I'm using a duel wielding colossal swords and it's quite powerful but not OP like bleed or frost literally no status, magic, incantations just pure brawly type of play through
Same here, I’m doing a guts build
My newest character duel weilds the greatsword and the zwiihander.still don't have the endurance for chest armor but the damage is pretty thick.
A man I can respect. Did my first runs with magic and bleed it was too easy. Everyone in pvp runs the same builds and think they are good at the game when I see someone running something different I smile even if I lose I can respect it.

using colossals was the most miserable experience in Elden Ring for me. sucks not being able to hit bosses and enemies since they are faster than ever and have PERFECT spacing

You know what's crazy? I've done bleed/cold on bosses just like the dude in the video but I've never experienced this glitch. Is it only a console thing?
they fixed the boss glitch where hey lose all their health in second phase with last patch
With the bleed and frost bug on bosses with a 2nd phase, any build involving either of the two can do it. It's not really overpowered
The bug is making them overpowered. The ease to achieve it just makes it worse lol

@@SyIis we must be playing different games then, because there are so many super powerful setups that all shred bosses. Been doing a playthrough with greatshield spamming which is crazy broken in PvE and PvP both, because you can add several buffs that shouldn't be possible to add. There are other things than the few setups people use as crutches, you just have to actually try them.

Nothing I've found is more op then using the Marais executioner sword, rotten winged sword insignia, shard of Alexander, Godfrey's icon, Millicent's prosthesis. Pair that setup with the tear that increases successive hits and bloodboil aromatic and any other buff you think of and you use that L2 your gonna see a good few thousand damage points especially if you max out each attribute it scales with
Except that actual war if there's literally a blade of grass in the way between you and the enemy it completely whiffs

Don't be quick to judge I played multiple Journeys in Elden Ring all of them I felt that they have gotten easier instead of harder.
@@joshwest9373 Because you get better. Also level up all your stats. Which doesn't matter too much. But you actually know how to create an actual decent build after NG+. I mean sure my powerstance colossal swords did a shit ton of dmg. But there are faster builds that does more dmg just by using buffs etc.

WTF the boss had half a health bar drop to a twentieth of what it was, looked like status glitch. I have seen and used many bows and they do hit hard but not half a health bar hard or maybe the clip was cut out early.

Its ok if you use a bow but as soon as I do the same thing with magic its a problem.
No one said this was anymore or any less cheesy than using the beam or meteorite shower spell with unlimited FP.
Bow has finite arrows, arrows can be expensive and boring to farm, only 2 talismans actually effect the bows, damage is low, projectile speed is low, fall off damage is high, can only have 2 arrow types equipped at once and all bows except the black bow (and all short bows) have a very limited move set. Spells have high damage, good tracking, good projectile speed, no fall off damage, have tons of talismans that boost their effects, fast cast speed (determined on your virtual dex) and you can have a max of 7 spells equipped at a time. Also in this video the guy is using a glitch, bows aren’t that powerful

@@leanformeme8470 well depending on your build, talismans and flasks/ physic flask; spells can last a considerably long time. But that’s being nit-picky because no one is running a max mana build.
@@Bro1212_ Most spells have a very finite range that they are effective at.
Bows have fall off damage because they have a lot longer range than anything else in the game. Which can be almost doubled with a talisman. Which the same talisman affects certain spells fwiw.
Also cast speed is not as quick as you think it is. Considering how much health most enemies have the only way to make magic viable is to make it do so much damage. Or would you rather the DS2/3 approach where you do as much as a sword swing per cast?

Would be nice to see the stats. Been wanting to make a bow build.
Most bows have a D/D stats. So str/dex and get barrage on whatever bow you want. They can't be infused at all, so its not really complicated past that. Then dump the rest into vigor/endurance.
Just a rough guess I'd put 50+vigor 20-30 endurance 50/50 on str/dex would probably work if you only wanted to use the bow.
Could spec elsewhere if you wanted to mix in some spells. Be warned though the damage isn't that high even with high str/dex. I had 50 dex and 30 str near the end of my playthrough and my bow was still not even cracking 250 damage per hit even with sword talisman and arrow's sting.
So anything tanky you will have to use bleed/frost arrows. Getting the bone bell is ideal to keep making arrows since you burn through 99 faster than you would think.

@@RuiNDieM1988 that’s not how the glitch works. When Maliketh entered his second phase, he took a huge amount of damage. That was the glitch. The damage the bow was dealing out before then was not a glitch, and if we’re watching the same video I’d say that bow was destroying him
