Damn solid update. Finally addressing some of TM's more annoying missed opportunities. The app is really shaping up. If Epic keeps going at this rate, I may have to crack open Unreal a lot less. (I do previz for film) Come on meta humans!
Yeah I agree! adding in those smaller little functions that make a difference in workflow! Do you find yourself jumping between UE and TM quite a bit? Meta humans will probably be something that they eventually introduce, just like some features from UE. Keep checking out the Twinmotion roadmap to see the updates in progress! portal.productboard.com/epicgames/3-twinmotion-public-roadmap/tabs/5-in-progress
Thanks a lot for introducing this new update to us all. ❤ Why rendering time is like eternal like 12 hrs for a short clip of 30 seconds? Any tips? My Laptop spec GPU 8GB 3070...
Hi there! Thank you for your comment 😊 Are you rendering in Lumen or Path Tracer? Its all determined on the export resolution and settings in lumen or path tracer. Let me know and I can help some more! Thanks 😊
@@curiousity271 Have you updated you graphics drivers to the most recent? Lumen will crash at 4k you will need to render Lumen at a 1920 x 1080. Path tracer shouldn't have an issue exporting it would just take a long time to render, maybe hours and hours depending how long the clip is. It is also all determined on what is going on in your scene, use the Lumen Visualizer to see material conflicts in Twinmotion. You can also use the Stats panel in the bottom left to see model and texture performance impacts. Culling out materials, models etc that you aren't using will help. Reducing the amount of vegetation would also help. Let me know how you get on. Cheers!
Hi. Thank you so much for sharing the new updates, they are great, giving us more control on details to work with. I have one Question if possible to answer. Is it possible now to have stained colored glass having light coming through from outside and while it goes inside the space it throws colored shades of light. (Like the stained glass in Churches?
Hi! Thanks for your comment. 😊 Yes, there are options available. In the Twinmotion material library, you'll find a selection of glass materials. Within that list, you’ll see colored glass options (red, blue, green, etc.), which work great for creating stunning stained glass effects. Let me know how it goes! Cheers!

If you can't find the Twinmotion 2025.1 Preview listed as a new release in your Epic Games Launcher, don’t worry! Here’s what to do: 1. Look for a small green dot in the settings section of your launcher. This indicates that a restart is needed. 2. Restart the Epic Games Launcher. **Important:** After restarting, do not simply continue using the current launcher window. Fully exit the Epic Games Launcher by closing it completely. 3. Reopen the launcher by clicking on the Epic Games Launcher shortcut on your desktop. Once you've completed these steps, the Twinmotion 2025.1 Preview should appear in the dropdown menu.
Need an indepth one on LOD can you do this to any model? How much does it improve performance. How does it look in render? Also, activate your windows 😜
From what I have done so far it’s most models, will have to do some further research on that and performance 😊 that’s a good question about how it looks in render.. could just be optimised for editor? I have already! Pro license, if you have a fix let me know! 😅🤣
Hi there! Thanks for the comment. You have to adjust the wind speed on both the clouds and in the environment settings 😊 I created a Timelapse by setting the scale of the clouds to zero - you create a video set another key frame and set the scale of the clouds to full, when you play it should create a Timelapse effect. Thanks!
faltarían.... smart grass, round corner, cap holes section, dar mas realismo a la vistas ortogonales para los alzados. y una textura de follaje 3d mas automatico
More updates are planned! Twinmotion is always working and developing in the background. You can view the public roadmap here: portal.productboard.com/epicgames/3-twinmotion-public-roadmap/tabs/5-in-progress
In Twinmotion, you can bring in your own human models by importing them as FBX or OBJ files. For movement though Twinmotion doesn't support motion capture data, you can animate your humans in another software (like Blender or Unreal Engine), export the animations, and then re-import them into Twinmotion as baked animations.
thanks a lot, perfect overview!
No worries! Thanks for watching!
There are some cool updates in this version. niice breakdown video too
Thank you! 😁

No problem! Thanks for watching :) there are some pretty cool new features, but no AI features have been implemented yet.

Yes it does! 😊

I agree, but the twinmotion library is always getting updated. Maybe they will implement more in future updates!
Thanks
