- In this video, I compare two of the best mid-range phones, the Galaxy A55 vs Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus.
Both phones are phenomenal in this price range, but for its performance and system, I would go with the Galaxy A55. The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus has a better design, better fast charging, and its camera is also not far behind, so it's not a bad option either.

I have been using RN13P+ (a very long name damn it) for about 8 months now and it's been an absolute blast. No major complaints at all, everything works smoothly and the display is just amazing with that 1,5K res. and curved edges, which you would expect on a flagship phone, not on a mid-ranger like this one. A55 might have better video recording (especially during the night), but I barely record any videos. The phone also never heats during gaming.
i have it a month so far,the phone is a beast for this price and specification!!
@@ΧΑΡΟΣ-9 I mean, 120Hz display, HyperCharge, a charger, and a protective case, along with a 1.5k curved edges display, and IP68 certification - all for this price is indeed surprising. True, the camera might be a downside and could be improved (but given the price, it's understandable from Xiaomi). For users like me, who don't prioritize the camera as I'm not into selfies or heavy photography, everything else is simply fantastic!
Currently typing from that phone, had it for over a month and I can confirm everything written here is the truth, for such a price that phone is insane.
Hello, you have been using it for a while. I want to ask about the battery. How long does it last? I use social media. I am confused and I want to buy the Redmi badly.
@@yassineboussaidi3057 battery is good, 3 months I've been using it and the battery holds just fine. If you use 5G continuously though, the battery will drain bit faster.
Your channel has such a great quality, only of a few that I found that made the comparison on a detailed level and without putting many time on video. Keep up the great work!
I bought the Poco X6 Pro 12gig 512gig 2-29-24 from Amazon 1 day delivery. For $387. To replace my Poco X3 GT had it for over 2 1/2 years. Flagship Killer for the Money 💰. No problems with 5g or anything else. I live in Chicago USA. I had the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ from Giztop online. 11 day delivery. Can't get rid of the Chinese Apps. Chinese Version. Redmi Phone's will not work right in the USA.
Debloating thru adb doesn't work?
There is the global version
When it comes to Chinese phones use with sim cards from US carriers even global variants with full GMS might experience operations issues so expect worse with Chinese versions. Canada in comparison is way better than the US, you can use there on major carriers networks almost any phone or tablet bought overseas.
I recently bought and tested the Redmi. The macro lens is ridiculous, the quality is extremely poor, the 200 MP lens is quite cool. Charging completely with 120 W in 20 min is fine, but I don't use it for usual, because the phone gets quite hot and I think that's not so good for the battery. I hate the on-off-button exactly in the middle of the phone, so it turns on and off, on and off all the time. The main reason why I sold my Redmi now is , that it has some bugs, especially with a very unstable bluetooth. The connection with my car was very bad and stopped frequently. And it was impossible to pair it with my Samsung Galaxy Watch. Now I have a Galaxy A55, everything works very fine. I'm happy 😁.
You are wrong because modern batteries can handle high charging speeds without affecting battery life, and the Redmi processor is also more powerful than the Samsung processor, so you made a mistake in selling the Xiaomi phone.
@user-ig9kp9wp3x I agree the Redmi is a better phone here
@@user-ig9kp9wp3xYou are wrong too, Li-Po battery(Redmi) only last 10 to 17 months unlike for the Li-ion battery(Samsung) that last 3-5 yrs
@ralfblumenschein I have issues with my bluetooth on my Redmi Note 10 with a multimedia pioneer DMH-Z6380TV. So in your experience does the A55 is better with connection stability?
@@user-ig9kp9wp3x not much powerful exynos 1480 is on par with 7200U + thermals are better on a55 which is miraculous considering its a exynos
Great Video, I have the Xiaomi Redmi 13 Pro Plus and I used it for some time, it's a good smartphone but... The Xiaomi operating system is full of advertising, and it can't be solved, it can be better but it doesn't, the curved screen looks good but it's a problem. The headache of getting protection tempered glass isn't enough, gel film works but doesn't protect much, the camera doesn't stabilize up close either... an advantage that I consider fast charging. I switched to a Samsung A55 I got it for a good price, the downside is slow loading, a slow fingerprint reader, otherwise everything is ok and finally there is no advertising on everything that opens...Xiaomi I don't recommend it for the same reason.
My mother had 2 Generation of Redmi phones. You can uninstall and deactivate those crappy apps messages.
The biggest downside compared to Samsung phones are Xiaomi phones getting far less updates and the quality of the updates is also not good as samsung phones. I remember my mother had an issue on her Xiaomi redmi 11, the camera app was so sluggish and it never improved, i had a Samsung A50 in that time and i did get more and better updates, which improved the phone a lot but the Xiaomi phones on the other improved like little or none.
And with Samsung phones, you get cases, screen protection everywhere for Xiaomi phones it is hard to find even cases.
Which one has bettere cameras and which one better performance? Also would you recommend getting a nothing phone instead of these 2?
Got a55 and I am very pleased, good screen and good processor, yes it is exynos and had my doubts, But it is really good for its price, I am not a heavy gamer but it can handle all i tried on max and didnt got any lag.
The only thing I dont like much is the camera, just for the price could be better. I very much like the ratio and with a case I cant see the bazels, the feel is pretty good too.
Wow ahora en ingles que buena onda, con razon ya se me hacia que ya habias hecho este video😂
😂😂😂😂Ahhahahah
Great video man.. really info rich and helpful
Hello.
I kindly ask you to help me in making the following choice between these phones:
Poco X6 pro VS
Redmi Note 13 pro PLUS VS
Motorola 50 Fusion VS
Samsung A55. VS
I am also opened to Poco F6 as a variant if it would be really worth it in my case.
Use case: phone will be used for photos and media consumption (browsing, TH-cam etc); battery and system stability are important. Almost NO gaming on the phone and the number of years of future updates are not important.
Nice honest review 🙏🏻
Always 🥰
Thanks for the comparison! The non-plus of the Redmi Note 13 Pro version uses a Snapdragon chipset, I believe, meaning you could use a Gcam port with it to, in some situations, potentially improve the photography quality; anyone know if Gcam can force 4K 60fps on video?
Great honest review and i got the a55. It's good but not great at everything. Charging to me is the major downside in 2024.
redmi note 13 Pro Plus (International global) bro, is this purple color glass frame or leather finish on the back? I would appreciate it if you could reply.
Leather
I'm not gamer. But, i want to smooth performance social apps & others business app. My first priority is photography, videography & charging backup.
Which is suitable for me?
For you, I would go for the Redmi.
a55, redmi trash asf
@@SteelFlesher Saying that Redmi is trash without any effort to explain why, is just idiotic.
I think note 13 pro plus it's really better than a55 in shots
In processor too.
Does the Galaxy A55 have data signal issue or Wifi problem because I have bought two Samsung A phones in the past years and they both have that problem
mmm, On my tests I have none. Usually I mention these things on my reviews, but I don't remember having any problems.
@@New3scT3ch Thanks, good to know because I'm ordering it.
Bought A55 for my girlfriend. She will keep it a few years as the one she had (Samsung update) : 375€ for the 128go
I want a good video and photo camera i dont play game.I need fast intrface. And more security.Wich one you think to bus i think a55 is better bu i need to know what did you think
Can you do Poco x6 pro vs Poco f5 pro in the next video ? Please !
Thing is, the 13 is 50 euros more expensive here through carrier than the A55, but the same price through a tech store
And Im also kinda worried that my google keyboard will be freezing up like on my 12pro
After getting used to minimized bezel phones, I can't stand the ones with bezels
I hate slow charging speed and huge basels on samsung but rest looks acceptable also pixel phonea are on slow sode of charging speed copying Apple.
which phone would run genshin better? i dont need highest graphics, low-medium is enough
Any of these would let you run Genshin with those graphics settings.
a55
Bro this is the 3rd comment I've seen for you hating on redmi, may I ask why? I really need a phone that can last me for long, and I was thinking about getting the redmi, but your dedication in the comment section is making me reconsider. Could you please clarify? @@SteelFlesher
You did not even mention the price for redmi 😂 it's hugely different and may make anyone buy it over samsung
The price you pay for Redmi also includes deadboot, bootloop, and a dozen faulty update issues!
@@juanmiguel7180 redmi is good with their updates, bloat ware apps can be easily deleted. And no software feature could compensate for $180 price difference.
In my country they actually have the same price,,
a55 is much better tbh, i would prefer stability than how cheap that shit is
In my country the A 55 is cheaper than the RN13 pro plus
i want a good performance phone between 300 and 400 $
i want to play with good fps (not at the best graphics) but durable like in 2 years it will still be smooth in the lowest setting
i want a good camera i love doing good pics take photos of the sky at night or bight day idc about video stuff for now soo what you guys think is best ? A55 or 13 pro plus?(maybe another phone to suggest ?)
I would buy the Samsung Galaxy S23, here in Austria they sell them for like 400€.
@@ibobeko4309 thanks !
.
Bro in poco x6 pro there is otg support means there is but I know to comform that I will connect my mouse to phone so there is very complaints to other phone there is no support right click in phones, so I know to comform there is support of right click ? (Sorry for bad english)
Samsung is batter than anything. Because samsung have amazing ui!
Ok
No complain galaxy a55 is wonderful🤩🩷
I will just say this is a very dishonest review. Th3 moment you said the redmi also have the same slow fingerprint sensor thats when I knew you weren't being honest.
Bruh where do you live 😊
by LA, i thought he lived in Spain
Πιο ειναι το καλυτερο; Δεν ξερω αγγλικα !
SAMSUNG A55 5G FOR BETTER CAMERA EXPERIENCE
Και γω που ξέρω; Δε μπορώ να αποφασίσω. Αλλού καλύτερο το ένα αλλού το άλλο!
Skip both and buy Xiaomi 13T instead
Thanks bro that's gonna be my new phone 😂
Yes, gai
How dare you😂
*neh, that redmi design is ugly*
