@@sascha... I think a good strategy to ensure you understand your conversation partner would be to put it in your own words. However, this is balanced against using the same vocabulary as your conversation partner as well. Using different terms has potential to cause confusion. I think it comes down to a judgement call and if your conversation partner is understanding you.
