36” Vs 34” waist
If you have any idea what the 5000’s are about I would appreciate your feedback

Zero refers to the 17oz Bushido denim that they use, and the 5000 is more of a regular straight while the 710 is a slim straight.

Thanks for the great video! I'm new to raw selvedge denim, but also one of these people that like the slim tapered look. However, I'm not a tall slim young guy. I'm middle-aged muscular build. I want to go for the 713's, but I'm afraid I'll quickly get a crotch blow-out because of my body type and the lack of stretch that I'm used to in my Levis 511. I would like the jeans to last. What would you recommend?

If you're looking for high tapered 713s is a great option from Samurai. You can also look into PBJ, Tanuki and Momotaro. They have some great high tapered cuts. Iron Heart introduced a new raw stretch denim, check out the 777 cut. 👊

Great info, I just picked up a pair of the s511xx original model 😍. In your opinion is the 713 like a 511 just with a lower rise?

Thanks. 👊 👊 👊 713 has bigger thighs with a higher taper and a high waist. 511 has high waist and slim straight with less taper.

I would appreciate your advice to go for a cut a little slimmer than the SO510XXII maitaining the same high rise. I am in doubt between the S500AX and a S710. I am worried than the latter between the two could be too slim/tapered and similar to a PBJ xx013 rather than the SO510.

Hello! Your best bet is to try them on in a store if you can. If not, I prefer to go for a looser fit as this is my preference. You might also be able to contact your closest denim store for advice. Some might even let you order two and return the other if their return policy allows. Always check first but that could be a great option. 👊 👊 👊

Hey i was looking at other reviews and they said that samurai jeans they were reviewing had a baige weft. Do samurai offer any with a white weft? Im looking for jeand that will fade pure light blue. Thank you

I think most are woven with a white weft. To get a beige weft, you'd need to find something special. 👊 👊 👊
