Love your videos Sarah! I couldn’t sleep this morning and binged watched many Simply Sarah videos. I really enjoyed them all. Thanks for all of your hard work sweetie. I think you should create a cookbook for real. Many blessings sent your way.😇🙏❤️
Again I may be late but I Love Sara’s recipes. Right up my alley. They’re great home cooked meals Edit I just bought an instant pot ant would love to see your recipes Sara
I think the best item you can get for a substitute steak is to buy the large portobello mushrooms. Wash away any debris, remove the stems either slice into 2 across the cap or leave whole. Fry them up in the pan as you would a steak, season and either drain liquid or reserve as aujuis ( sauce/gravy).
Using stuff from a grocery store is great as those high priced speciality groceries are not affordable for lots of us. Keep cooking and sharing with us. You are appreciated!
When I add water like this, I use it to rinse out my cans to get all of that tomato goodness. You could rinse out your chopper, as well. Makes clean up easier, too!
I wish you and Jamie would assign moderators when you live stream, the trolls are so annoying. Also you can do a super chat and folks can donate to have their comments stand out. It's a great way to make a little extra money and also to have your fans feel recognized. Keep up the great work we love ya!
Thank you Sara. I just found you and I think you’re the best! I appreciate the vegetarian recipes and the meatless substitute suggestions. I watched your bean burger video and thought I might try that in meatloaf form, as well as burger. Its helpful to see you cooking in real time too.

@@TSmith-lw3fz Hey Teriney, hope your well and safe today. Thank you for the message however Im sorry im not quite sure what you mean? Did I make an inappropriate suggestion?
@@TSmith-lw3fz he literally never once made any kind of “suggestion” at all in his comment. What are you taking about!?! He simply said he likes the sound of Jamie’s voice...
We had goulash last night. We call it "Robert Goulet" because my youngest would ask for "goulet" when he wanted goulash. Haha. I'll be heating up some leftover Robert Goulet tonight.
So cute..goulash will always be robert goulet to you. Through the years the kitchen has become "the chicken", pepperoni is "macaronii"..and if someone is not paying attention to you, you are being "renored" (ignored). That's my three kids.
Sara another great recipe...great ideas always...and I am older than you...yet you are do much more creative ...bless you and I thank you...please tell Jamie I am Italian and have made biscotti all my life and I love his the best...you guys are precious...
Wow I am telling you Sweet Sarah you are so amazing you make cooking fun. A little tip when making tomatoes based sauces I always put in a table spoon of sugar to dilute some of the acid it ready helps my stomach. Keep up the wonderful videos thank-you. God Bless you and your family.
Hi Sara and Jamie Both goulashs look good, but I will be trying the veggie one. You make everything look so easy. Time for a Sara cookbook. Thanks for sharing God Bless
I make lots of veggie bowls tonight it’s snap peas with mushrooms on top of cubes butternut squash cooked in sesame oil with a side of sliced air crisped turnips Move you tried fried radish and friend turnips? Even in the air crisper omg they taste just like potatoes
Funny story, my whole life I’ve eaten Goulash. But my whole life my mother called it soupy macaroni. 🤣 when I met my now husband, I told him I was cooking soupy macaroni for dinner and was like what!? He came and looked in my pot and legit looked at me like I was stupid. He said that looks just like goulash. I didn’t know what that was. So I googled it and learned later that my mom didn’t know how to say goulash so she called it soupy macaroni.
I love seeing you make a vegetarian option to a normally meat based meal. It looks delicious and I can only imagine how good it smells. Thank you for inspiring me to cook!
Can you make a video about the zero calorie ice tea? Boil water and poor into mint tea, let it get the flavour and cool for 4 hours and put to the fridge until cold. Serve with ice and fresh mint leafs. Thanks Sara. You are the best!
I think they look great!! I was vegan for about 9 months because I am celiac. I have incorporated a bit of meat, but still prefer plant based food. I’m going to try this!!
It's weird that we call this concoction Goulash in America, because it's nothing like the original goulash. Even tomatoes were not used in the original Hungarian goulash. The tomatoes didn't get added until much later and noodles are not part of it. We called this just a pasta with a hearty vegetable and tomato sauce in my southern family. Now I know people were probably not referring to the Hungarian version in my hometown, when they mentioned they had goulash for dinner. Half a century and I didn't know this. 😂. Looks great to me and looks like my mom used to cool. 💕
First of all, sorry for my english i hope to u will understand what i like to say :-). The First time I saw u, i was a little bit shocked, a woman whos not 90-60-90 show the whole world, that she love to cook and to eat a lot and seems to be really happy with that. Then i began to watch more of your videos and Sara u are great. To see you made me freedom with me and my overwight. U are what u are and u don't shame about yourself!!! I learnd a lot of you... Thank you :-)
I love that everything in your kitchen is red mine is also. My kitchen is white with everything red. My husband just went and bought me a red microwave my kitchen curtains are even red and white. I just love the red and white colors together.
I have diverticulosis also. It really sucks not being able to eat corn, nuts and seeds. We are able to have the seeds most of the time from tomatoes and cucumbers because they are kind of coated and go through your system easy. The one thing I miss that I can't have the most is the corn. I miss eating popcorn too Hh
I love garlic too. We roast garlic cloves first and we use plenty of them. Publix grocery store carries the minced garlic too. We use it often but sometimes it has little hard pieces because the ends aren’t cut of before they chop them. I say we because my husband has to cook now because my health won’t allow me too.
I am very grateful that you started making videos like this again. I truly enjoy watching you cook. I’ve gained so much knowledge. My husbands happier too🌸🌸

We marinate our portobello mushrooms in balsamic vinaigrette after scooping the gills out. Man is that ever some tasty stuff.
