Blew my mind about the vines growing through the kitchen and other places, like you said looks like those vines are eating it alive , wow, yet so sad at the same time. Love that old car and those motorcycles, they were cool to see. Oh, i do think the divorce did him in though, it could have been his wife meant so much to him but the reality maybe she had to divorce him for other reasons too, who knows. Thanks for sharing Jay.
WOW! What an explore. It makes me sad that nobody stepped up and got this gentleman the help he needed. Then again maybe he just refused, if offered. By far one of the most interesting abandoned homes I've seen. Thanks Jay, Matt and Jess for sharing with us viewers. 👍🤙
Some people like this don't need help they just like this way of living, people automatically think they must have mental health problems but no being eccentric is not being mentally ill.
This one hit me hard for some reason. So many memories and history stored away. Thank you for sharing this. This mans life and story are now somewhat immortalized.
My eldest nephew does constructon and remodeling. He wears hazmat gear when cleaning out a place like this. Steer clear of black mold. Not good to be breathing that. Stay safe Jay. I felt like I was watching an episode of TLC's show Hoarders. Very sickening. I even held my nose when you opended the fridge doors.😳🤢I think this has to be the worst condition place you've ever shown us to date. That portrait in the attic reminded me of ones I have of my grandma and grandpa. It's from the late 1800's to early 1900's as my dad was born in 1917. Great documentation! 👍
Seeing that old house reminds me of 1990 in Port Arthur Texas, there was countless old homes and buildings with so much old stuff left behind. Great video JP 👍👍👍 Amazing to see the old handa motorcycles, mint condition to. Wow! I hope they go to a good home
I'm from down-state West-Virgina and there is tons of old abandoned homes down there.. U can find them deep in woods and even very old cemetery's haven't been touched for years... Unreal the way that man lived he's final days of he's life while nature was taken over he's home from grass growing on floor to vines great video but still sad at the same time how the house could have been saved .................
I bet that house was beautiful once! The car and those motorcycles could be restored, I sure hope the friends and relatives plan to do that. I saw some cool items in there, like that clock in the kitchen, the vintage sofa/couch, a few really cool pictures on the walls, the old dial phone, model trucks, and all the bicycles and toys, to name just a few, so much to see! I love chocolate, but to eat that syrup just out of the bottle, no way! lol Actually kind of sad when you think about all of it. Your photos are amazing JP. Awesome video, thank you so much!
I enjoyed this video, I have to say how sad I feel that he was living like this, a year or two would never do all the damage that this house is in. I hope the house will be saved. I will never forget the kitchen sink, that fridge. Thank you for sharing this man's happiness and the outcome of his death.
The house is too far gone to save, sad to say. Likely much of the contents within it are also unsavable. The motorcycles yes, likely, the car, I think an early 50's Chevy, yes can be saved, but little else.
Holy cow!! This one blew me away...... It's actually kinda sad to think all his stuff just left behind to rot and decay with the house. Great find on this video!!

Jay, looking at the grille and turn signal "vent" on the car it appears to be a 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe. The side moulding just above and behind the front wheel should say Deluxe on it also. Well worth saving and restoring.
What makes this car more interesting is. It is earlier than a 1955 Chevy, probably a 51 or so, A small block chevy was introduced in the 1955 chevy. The car in this video has a small block chevy and a 3 or 4 speed trans, meaning the owner removed the 6 cylinder and installed a small block chevy. Would be a nice car to have if its solid.
It was honestly really sad.. I remember a few months after he passed I was lucky enough to explore it, There was so much more old cars and bikes & yeah in the attic was his mother from what I understood
One thing yall may not realize. People who lived during or just after the Great Depression didn't want to waste anything as money was so very hard to come by. I wonder how the property looked before his wife left him. Maybe he was depressed after that. I hope the car goes to someone who will restore it. That car is awesome
Awesome abandoned video JP! I do believe this is the best one yet! It's like stepping back in time! I can't believe all the vintage toy's! Kinda creepy he had no kids? That old Chevy car is awesome looks like a 52. Im amazed at the Hershey's syrup, unbelievable! Hopefully the family will sale that stuff and give it a new home so it will be saved! I can't believe all the corvette ralley wheels there! Awesome adventure! Thanks for bringing us along!
@Abbys Apples 2 your right, come to think of it I've saw plenty of toy's in other people's collections of antiques and some people just like collecting them.
Wow what an explore to see inside this ol home thanks for taking me/us with you.:) I would not want this place to spruce up.Have a wonderful weekend my friend. take care stay safe and keep living the dream:)
This makes me think. We spend our lives collecting all these material goods. Some for a use, and some for looks. We focus on that until the day we pass, and what then? None of it matters to you anymore because you are not there anymore. All those things you lived to collect, and love ether (hopefully get salvaged by family, or people who resell, or fix up old thngs) but most of the time it's going to be stolen, vandalized, or saddest of all......just sitting there slowly rotting into nature. As a collector myself, it just makes me think.......
I think it would be a good idea to collect, fix up if need be and sell for more than you got it for. And you can make crafts(like wood, or whatever) and sell them. But don't just collect, try to sell for profit. And maybe keep some stuff, but don't go overboard. It is better to be trying to fix things, refinish things, or make crafts, or have a hobby like ho trains, or whatever; than be watch much TV. Amen
The guitar lady on the fridge is Lita Ford, from the all girl band The Runaways, all those toy cars and vehicles need to be saved! Can't believe it is just sitting there 😳
I love it when you explore these abandoned places. Well, it’s weird which is always cool. Thank you for taking us along with you. It’s kind of morbid curiosity but I find the world of hoarders fascinating.
I find it hard to believe that the county wouldn't have repossessed this house and auctioned it off for back taxes. From what I see, I doubt the structure can be salvaged, but surely the land has value - as well as some of the contents if anyone was willing to take on cleaning it out.
I didn’t get any bad vibes from this house. I just got that an old, depressed, eccentric man lived out his life in this house. Is that the vibe you got as well? He should’ve used some of the money he spent on chocolate syrup and magazines for a maid! It was a cool find for you. I’m happy that you brought us along.
What if in that photo was the happiest day of that man’s life? Maybe just starting a peaceful ride through the country side on a new bike with his wife. And we got to see that moment in time. What a photo.
With all that chocolate and mayonnaise, I can't help but wonder how old the fellow was when he passed. 😳 This was a very interesting explore! (Edit: After seeing all those toys and hearing that he didn't have kids, I am VERY creeped out. I hope they investigate that property thoroughly! I'm no prude, but porn addictions like this guy apparently had can lead some to do all sorts of things! Some of those toys looked old enough that they might have been his when he was younger. You'd expect a hoarder to hang onto those. But some of those toys weren't old enough to be his, at least not without something unusual going on. 🤨)
My thoughts exactly. And even more weird ALL toys in that shed. He had things all over his house so it is strange pretty much all toys were storaged in a place he could lock.
People automatically think hey a grown man has kids toys he must be a peado, obviously these people don't know horders very well, cause they will buy anything thinking it will come in handy and maybe his neighbours were throwing them out and any horder will know this they can't pass up the opportunity for free stuff even if it's toys.
Omg that place is crazy. 🤦🏼♀️Almost speechless. Cool find though for real. That house was probably gorgeous back in the day. That car is off the charts🤯.👍 He probably has those toys storing them for somebody, they are in a shed. Very interesting find that house is.✨
Great Video JP, It's hard to believe he lived like that before he passed away! How can he go to the bathroom, wash himself or eat in that vine kitchen or sleep upstairs before the floor caves in? It's so sad that nature took over his home and nobody can come and help fix what it needs. Very sad story behind it. 😢
It’s not puzzling at all... you just have to accept that depression is a downward spiral... look at his diet chocolate and Mayo these probably provided the only comforts in his life and let’s face it.. Mayo is delicious I wonder if the extra cholesterol along with a mundane lifestyle is what led to his demise.. pity cos I would have liked to have met him...
Loved that old Chevy…I’m gonna guess it was a 1952-1954 based on what I remember my dad’s’59 Chevy looked like. Also, the decor of the house and the yellow wall phone definitely seemed like mid 70’s to early 80’s. Same foe cordless phone. I don’t remember seeing them until late 70’s or early 80’s. Such a great find! Thanks for sharing!
I’m a new subscriber, loving the videos! If someone doesn’t save the house which is a shame , then the biggest waste would be letting those gorgeous classic vehicles and motorcycles go !
I am positive that this place has to be the very best I have seen since I have been watching TH-cam videos. J.P. You're the best for sharing these awesome places with us, and now your videos are definitely top shelf for sure. Thanks again for sharing this super video.
I think this place was left empty much longer ago than the folks that brought you to the property indicated. I just can't imagine this place having gotten this bad in only two years. Even saying that it was like this when he was still around seems fishy to me since heating would've been impossible & getting electric service would've been a recipe for a house fire. Never mind the sheer amount of rodent chewed paper or bird guano all over the place. It looks like it's built up over decades... The fridge was gross, for sure, but it seems weird that this person had the sense to have a regular diet but also kept jars of mayo & chocolate syrup stocked everywhere. The pRon addiction, the tech comprehension level, etc. also seems like a contradiction.
Wow !! 😳😳 This poor guy..... he liked his Hersey's Syrup and Hellmann's Mayonnaise and Honda motorcycles for sure. Wonder what stories he could tell if he was here ? Sad his life ended this way ....a troubled man for his own reasons with his own ghosts that I will not judge . You did a great job with video....I really enjoyed it ....the music fit the video very well . I always enjoy all your video's at the end when you went back through all the video with the music playing it really added something more to the video...... it was just amazing how you presented it all. GREAT work as alway's !! 👍👍
Thanks for the video JP and friends, what a place definitely mental health I would think. Loved the bikes and the black gold Wing looks driveable. His personal life is his own nobody else's opinion should matter, bless him such a great find!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧💚
Wow what can i say about this house. it is so hard to believe this much damage could have happened in two years, the house must have been in a pretty bad state to begin with. By the looks of the Kitchen ceiling the house suffered some fire damage at some point not just the mold and the water and ivy getting through it all. The only place ivy should grow is in a pot or it takes over every thing. I feel bad for the people who buy this house at auction. I think they are going to have tons of garbage before they even start on house repairs it would be best bull dozed it looks like a fair amount of land too. To say he was a hoarder and an eccentric is spot on a little be of obsession also for the ladies. Well i look forward to the next video. stay safe out there.
This place is absolutely disgusting. I am surprised that the city of town does not just go in and start throwing all of that crap away. How can people live like this.
Hi JP - it was SO good to see you doing an abandoned house again and WHAT a place!! In its day it must have been a really beautiful home. As for the owner - a bit of a dirty old man (in both senses of the word)!!!!! 😂 Thank you for a wonderfully interesting explore. Gill 🇬🇧
Hey guys, thanks for a terrific video.i love seeing all the stuff left behind.im still a collector of tabloids and magazines and memorabilia from the 70-90s .So seeing all the stuff left behind made me happy and brought a smile to my face 🥰

Jay, looking at the grille and turn signal "vent" on the car it appears to be a 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe. The side moulding just above and behind the front wheel should say Deluxe on it also. Well worth saving and restoring.

The side molding design was completely unique to 1951 (i think)

The fridge was gross, for sure, but it seems weird that this person had the sense to have a regular diet but also kept jars of mayo & chocolate syrup stocked everywhere. The pRon addiction, the tech comprehension level, etc. also seems like a contradiction.
Awesome video, it’s always nice when you have the story when it’s available. Thanks for taking us along!! 💖💙💖💙💖💙💖💙
Thanks
The 3 H's. Hershey Hellmans & Hondas
Thanks for sharing this video 📹. I enjoyed seeing this old house 🏚. I bet it was nice back in the day 😀.
I can definitely say we had that type of light in the kitchen, vacuum, and just sad no one helped him clean
Thanks for the video JP and friends, what a place definitely mental health I would think. Loved the bikes and the black gold Wing looks driveable. His personal life is his own nobody else's opinion should matter, bless him such a great find!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧💚
He had good taste in bikes
I’d love to buy that car , truly amazing , great video!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love this trip...thanks for sharing. So sad.
It's amazing that whatever jurisdiction this is in allowed this deterioration to progress.
THIS MAN HAD HIS OWN METHODS OF MADNESS !!!
HOWEVER I CAN IMAGINE HE KNEW EXACTLY WHERE EVERYTHING WAS !!!
I agree with that
Hi JP - it was SO good to see you doing an abandoned house again and WHAT a place!! In its day it must have been a really beautiful home. As for the owner - a bit of a dirty old man (in both senses of the word)!!!!! 😂 Thank you for a wonderfully interesting explore. Gill 🇬🇧
That's a pretty accurate way of describing him
Two words -very sad.
He must have suffered from severe depression. How sad 😭!
Life passes us by like a summer vacation.......crazy!.
It’s so sad we can see the house was once well looked after, pity there’s no photographs of how it looked before it was left to rot.
Great explore! I SO want that adorable little car in the garage!!
It's definitely a keeper!
Those Toys brings a whole different Level of Creep to this Story 🤯
Maybe the toys were left out on the sidewalk and he took them.
Like a sale or smth
Awesome find JP you never disappoint out of the park as always, Keep looking ill watch not able to get around, love going on your adventures.
I just gagged when you opened the fridge.Never seen anything like this in my life.!!YUK.
Hey guys, thanks for a terrific video.i love seeing all the stuff left behind.im still a collector of tabloids and magazines and memorabilia from the 70-90s
.So seeing all the stuff left behind made me happy and brought a smile to my face 🥰
Glad you enjoyed it
😺😺😺
The way that house is sitting right now. With so much vines growing into the house. It'll cave in on itself within the next year or 2 year's from now.
That was someone’s whole life once upon a time it’s sad to me. But very interesting.
It is ungodly how much stuff is here. Just unreal. It boggles the mind.
And a year ago there was twice as much there.
I have been packing and moving. Missed alot of videos. 😢. Glad to be back. ,.
Very cool 😎😎 👍 nice find thanks for sharing
VERY sad that there was no family. This should never happen !
Wow 😲, Where is this&Why is none of the Family trying to sale Property all as is?
