The Uruguayan 10 peso coin was probably my favorite. That's such an impressive design--to say nothing of the fact that I love bimetallic coins!

Fun fact: all US coins were struck without mint marks from 1965-1967. I believe this was done to deter coin collectors from hoarding them.

I've found a few of those 1797 pennies metal detecting, that's the only year they were minted because of the outcry over there stupidly large size.

Birds are avian dinosaurs. Love the colouring on the water of the Canadian coin. I love Canada.... Wish I was there right now. Yorkshire folk have reinforced pockets 😂😂

My favourites of today were the Uruguay 🇺🇾 10 Pesos
The 1745 principality of Brunswick wolfenbuttel
1 pfennig, 1856 Kingdom of Saxony 2 Pfennige & the 1807 Kingdom of Saxony 3 Pfennige
some lovely and fascinating coins 😊
