    I'm an old-school biker who prefers a lot of chrome, polished aluminum, and bright glossy paint, rather than flat black engines, wheels, and bodywork. So, I'll keep my bright red and silver 2000 Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 and 2008 bright red 1200 Sportster.

    I have a 2020 Z650 and zero complaints. It’s not the best bike out there but it’s fun on a daily commute or runs on the tail of the dragon.

      @edfancher3550 The 2020 Kawasaki Z650 is a fantastic all-rounder, and it’s great to hear you’re enjoying it! While it may not be the flashiest or most powerful bike, it shines in what truly matters: practicality, reliability, and fun. Its lightweight trellis frame and responsive 649cc parallel-twin engine make it both nimble in urban commutes and capable enough for spirited rides, like tackling the twists and turns of the Tail of the Dragon.
      Sometimes, a bike doesn’t need to be "the best" to do everything you need it to-and the Z650 is a perfect reminder that fun and utility can coexist beautifully.

      That's probably the perfect size for the street. I'm looking to go down to this size and always had an affinity to the Kawasaki 650 engine. I like the 180 degree firing order. It sounds like a mini V4 to me and it can scream too as well as sound kind of beefy down low. Just a great engine and motorcycle.

    I ride a 2020 T120 Diamond Edition. Love the bike. I put on a v&h exhaust, cat delete and open element air intakes also a larger radiator and 160 stat then had it dyno'd at 83 hp at the rear wheel!

      @Roy-cm1bh That’s an excellent trade! The T120 offers that timeless retro charm with its 1,200cc parallel-twin engine delivering smooth, torquey power, perfect for both relaxed cruising and spirited rides. Its comfort, heritage-inspired design, and impeccable build quality make it easy to see why you love it. Ride on and enjoy every mile with that beautiful Bonneville! 👍

    looks like the Sportster S did really pretty good this year.
    but the BMW GS 1250 mostly walked off the adventure touring market...only 2K$ difference there, shrug.

    • @MotorVibesPro
      @MotorVibesPro  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @RulgertGhostalker You’re absolutely right-the Sportster S has found its footing, appealing to a more modern and performance-focused crowd compared to traditional Harley enthusiasts. Its Revolution Max engine and bold styling seem to have caught the attention of a newer generation of riders, which is great to see for Harley’s evolution.
      On the other hand, the BMW R 1250 GS continues to dominate the adventure-touring market, and with good reason. Its unmatched versatility, advanced tech, and refinement make it the go-to choice for serious ADV riders. For only about $2,000 more than the Sportster S, the GS offers incredible long-distance capability, which explains why it "walks off" the showroom floor for adventure enthusiasts. Two very different bikes, each excelling in their own way!

    • @MotorVibesPro
      @MotorVibesPro  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @charleslanphier8094 The Indian Scout Bobber is indeed a stunning motorcycle, blending a raw, minimalist design with modern performance. Its low-slung frame, aggressive stance, and blacked-out finishes create a striking aesthetic that perfectly captures the spirit of a classic bobber while still feeling fresh and contemporary. Powered by the 1,133cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, it delivers smooth, responsive power that’s perfect for both cruising and spirited rides.
      Its clean lines and attention to detail make it a bike that turns heads wherever it goes. For riders who value style and performance, the Scout Bobber is a standout in the midsize cruiser category.

    Globally big expensive bike sales are dropping.
    Smaller simpler value for money bike sales are soaring. .
    Royal Enfield in just October sold over 110,000 bikes.

    • @MotorVibesPro
      @MotorVibesPro  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @Lee-70ish The global motorcycle market is definitely seeing a shift, and you’ve nailed one of the key trends. Big, expensive bikes are becoming less appealing to many riders, with their high price tags, complex technology, and costly maintenance. Meanwhile, smaller, simpler bikes that offer real value for money are thriving, especially in developing and price-sensitive markets.
      Royal Enfield’s success is a perfect example of this trend. Selling over 110,000 bikes in just October highlights the growing demand for affordable, timeless motorcycles with practical performance. Their classic charm, reliability, and accessibility make them a go-to choice for riders worldwide.

    I didn't think the z650 would out sell the mt 07. But mt 07 just got an update so will see 2025.

    • @MotorVibesPro
      @MotorVibesPro  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It’s surprising, isn’t it? The Kawasaki Z650 quietly holds its ground as a solid, versatile bike, while the Yamaha MT-07 has long been a fan favorite, especially among younger and more aggressive riders. The Z650’s approachable handling, smooth engine, and slightly more commuter-friendly ergonomics might explain why it’s edged ahead in sales in some markets. However, with the MT-07 receiving updates-including TFT displays and improved tech-it could easily reclaim the spotlight by 2025.
      Both bikes are exceptional choices in the middleweight naked segment, and seeing the competition heat up only makes things better for riders!

      Your comment highlights a growing concern for many riders as tighter emissions regulations and shifting policies around internal combustion engines come into play globally. Governments are moving toward electrification and stricter environmental standards, which could eventually limit the availability of traditional motorcycles.
      For enthusiasts of ICE (internal combustion engine) bikes, now is indeed a good time to secure the machines they love, as the push for electrification accelerates. Let’s enjoy these mechanical masterpieces while we can-they’re more than just bikes; they’re a connection to the raw, unfiltered spirit of riding.

    Sportster S is a basket case, always is on the first model

    • @MotorVibesPro
      @MotorVibesPro  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @EricShingles-p6q
      It’s true that first-generation models often come with growing pains, and the Sportster S is no exception. While Harley-Davidson’s Sportster S introduces a bold new design and the impressive Revolution Max engine, it has also faced mixed feedback, particularly from traditionalists who miss the classic Sportster simplicity. The first model of any new direction typically serves as a testing ground, and it’s not uncommon for manufacturers to refine and address early issues in subsequent versions.
      For now, the Sportster S is a glimpse of Harley’s attempt to modernize, but refinement and feedback will likely shape its future iterations into something even better.

    This is the most obvious sell of troubled bikes I have ever seen.

    • @MotorVibesPro
      @MotorVibesPro  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @kevincamilleri1695 It's understandable to feel that way when certain motorcycles seem prominently featured in marketing or media-it can sometimes come across as an effort to move inventory that isn’t selling as expected. Troubled bikes often have niche appeal, polarizing designs, or price points that make them harder to connect with broader audiences. When manufacturers try to push these models, it can feel more like a "hard sell" rather than organic demand.
      However, even troubled bikes can offer great value or unique features for the right rider. A closer look can reveal hidden gems, but transparency and genuine appeal always matter most.

      @MotorVibesPro  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @joeromano5128 The Triumph T120 is an excellent choice-timeless, elegant, and packed with character. Its balance of retro styling and modern performance makes it a true classic for today’s rider. Updating the exhaust for a richer, more classic sound is a fantastic move, as it brings out even more of that iconic British twin charm.
      The stepped seat? A thoughtful touch to keep your wife comfortable and happy on rides-that’s what makes motorcycling so rewarding: sharing the journey. Sounds like you’re tailoring this bike perfectly to your needs. Ride on, and enjoy every mile with no regrets!
