I have one of these conversions and it's brilliant! Bed panels can be stored in the top box (supplied with roof bars) or can be stored in the gap between the seats. while travelling. For a quick set-up, I don't even bother setting up the bed and just sleep on the bench cushions in a sleeping bag with the seats folded down. Perfect for stealth/overnight camping. There's plenty of storage space in the benches for sleeping gear. If you want a more permanent set-up, use the awing (also supplied) either as a dining/sitting area or as a bedroom. The awing is single skinned but you can purchase an inner separately. Cooking is no problem. There's no danger of setting fire to the roof! Waste water goes out of the bottom of the van through a pipe. If you're on a campsite you could catch that in a bowl. One thing I would change is the hinged glass tops of the cooker & sink. The design makes it awkward to cook/wash-up from the outside so I'm considering taking the hinges off and using the glass when travelling only. If you want a camper experience with a vehicle you can still use every day, this is the answer.
Thanks for you guessed. I want to at the end of this year a new Citroen Berlingo or Peugeot Rifter. New model 2019. The intention is to make it through Europe around. Thank you very much, I follow you. Greetings Wim
I know, right? Most of these conversions use the table as a middle support between the two benches and one genious model I've seen had only one bench but it folded out into a bed in one simple movement. These guys are professional and went with this endless fiddling and all these boards? It's a pass for me, thanks.
Sara Van Roosbroeck . Exactly, just not my first thought for a bed design, appreciate it’s a small space tho. I personally LOVE Justin Meynells van builds and designs ( you can look his youtube channel up ) he has two mini benches opposite which slide into each other to form a generous single bed and a tight fitting double more like a 3/4 bed! Also he creates the most wonderful cosy feeling inside with wood cladding with many of these builds like this one the designs to me are generic and not very homely! Interesting build from those guys you’ve explained, do they have a youtube channel / video of the build design?

Totally impractical design, all that construction to go to bed and take apart in the morning. Cooker looks like a serious fire risk that close to roof. Loads of much more sensible base vehicles for small camper

Worst professionally designed camper van I've seen. The need to carry all the parts in a roof-top box means getting wet in rain and zero stealth capability. There's too much wood...and none of it has any weight-relief. Unless you're 7 ft tall, you dont need a bed extending all the way to the front dash....someone's head or feet are occasinally going to beep the horn. Etc.
@@ChibiTeamGaming I have build a DIY bed in my 2004 Peugeot partner and it needs to be that long. Sleep with my head on the back door and the feet almost touching the stearing wheel. There is not much space left - and I am only 6´3.

The panels can either fit into the top box or behind the front seats whilst driving.
Hola en consumo de agua para lavar no te gasta mucho o cómo sería saludos de argentina
The best mini camper I have seen so far..
That seems a faf! Taking the head rest and arm rest off and fiddling around with the seats every time you want the bed down!

Where are the mattresses kept. Only saw the ones on the bench seat.
In the roof box.
The bed boards are stored in the top box. The conversion also comes with a drive away awning.
vincewebb how much does it cost
Not very good on a wet night.
esse foi o mais bonito que já vi, gostaria de receber o projeto, com 75 anos ainda sonho e viajar, será que dá tempo?
Espero que sim, ainda sou jovem mas com três filhos só projeto fazer meu motorhome daqui a uns anos
Try doing that on a rainy night in Stoke...
Where do you store the bed panels while driving?
they seem to appear out of nowhere...
That is why I dont find that build very convincing :/
They're stored in the roof box...along with the cushions and other stuff.
Wish I could fold my seats in a 2004 Peugeot Parner flat like these here in the video....would have made building my bed a lot easier...
Where are you stowing all those bed boards etc during the daytime?

Where does all the bed board get stored . When not in use .
You need to tow a trailer to carry the bed jigsaw !!!!
Not fun setting the bed up in the rain though?
That's what I was thinking. I've just decided that's a no.

Where’s the mattress. Bit of a ball ache setting the bed up. especially after a few beers.

wo sind die anderen auflagen und wo verstau ich die zusätzlichen bretter für das bett ?
Very well done!
Quite complicated aproach. I have seen many that seem more stright forward. But the quality looks stunning.

Why do you want stealth? Are you on the run?
I didn't notice for the bed... crazy nights to come up x)
