@@jfavignano Man I got no idea; However just skimming through the video, it definitely seems like it'd be worth it in terms of realism (at least in the future; Assuming they can follow ROE's that'd be nice, Also curious about how they'll handle Forensics work, if they do it well I really hope they make Latent Prints an actual little mini-game just to add to the realism, as well as grabbing samples, rather than how I know some FiveM stuff works with having a flashlight, which makes me sad as they could do so much more with it. Any ETA on release to Early Access or even Beta Testing programs? also is there an actual way to keep up with the development?
Many have tried but they’re always absolute shit.. LSPDFR is still the best option but this game could be great. The pre alpha prototype is already as good as flashing lights

Despite Rockstar's efforts to shut down and dissuade modding, GTA V provides not just an incredibly powerful and open ended platform for modding, it also provides one of the most well made games to date, and an absolutely massive audience, which translates into more people developing and working on said mods. I personally would be happy if we got a police game with even a quarter of it's features that looked graphically like it belongs in this generation and was well optimized at this point.
@@ODSTGeneralYT Responding will release with the full suite of modding tools and SDK :) Modding is a super important part of any sandbox type game - many people have tried with Police/Emergency sims, and many people have very different ideas about what they want from it. Customiseability is key!
@@ODSTGeneralYT Problem is that it takes a *lot* of time to get LSPDFR to work correctly with the mods that really make it better, let alone the ludicrous amount of keybindings you've got to work with between all the different mods that you most of the time have to rebind because they're already used by a mod or another... Having a game that works just out of the box is just so much better for the player experience.
This sounds a lot like an EmergNYC successor, which was essentially the same concept just never got the love it need or deserved, and never moved beyond the FDNY. I'm very excited to see where this goes!
I am not sure if this is still the original development team, but if I recall correctly, this title was the result of a falling out of Raf and some of the other developers of EmergeNYC back in like 2014 or something.

I have been tracking this project for years. Way back when it first split from EmergeNYC development back in 2013 or 14, whenever it was. Then when EmergeNYC actually released and the development on this stalled out I had pretty much completely discounted it. I was very shocked when development seemed to ramp up dramatically for it, a couple of years ago. Still it has so far continued to shape up well over the last 2 years, which I am glad to see and I hope that will continue. I do still find myself a bit skeptical about it given the track record of some other emergency service titles both from big and small developers. But I do like the direction they have taken so far.
I didn't hear about this but remember EmergNYC, im hopeful too, plus with all of the latest unreal engine technology this could be amazing! I noticed these traffic vehicles did have soft-body physics, which is extremely demanding, but has great damage like BeamNG Drive, but it doesn't seem active in this build, hopefully the developers can make use of the soft-body physics these traffic vehicles come with I hope!
I remember EmergNYC, backed it initially on Kickstarter then never really heard much back from it except the Alpha builds that were just nonsensical messes. Now I see the dev abandoned it and feel a little cheated, but this project ironically looks more like something that can eventually be completed within scope.

I've been following the development of this game and its been looking promising especially with the recent updates. I also appreciate that the dev doesn't hide how janky it is - he also doesn't like it when games look nice when advertised but ends up being... rough. One of the few alpha projects I don't mind picking up in its current state.

NYPD dont do pit maneuvers only nypd highway patrol. You can see that by checking sector units dont have pushbars but in highway patrol is a thing. Also the whelen lightbar that you put that is exclusive of the state police
Ok, this one really has potential! Reason I say that is because, this is PRE ALPHA and it already looks to have more features and be more stable than some of the other fully released police/response sims do. I'll be watching this one closely for sure!

Awesome video as always, love it!!! I love that New York State Police Impala at the very beginning of the video. The New York State Police cars are one of my favorites. I also love the siren it sounds just like the Federal Signal SS2000 rumbler.
The only way we will ever get a police game to rival lspdfr is if by some miracle a AAA developer decides to make one , lspdfr is only as good as it is because of what rockstar had already created
That section where the shootout happens, and the stretcher moving the truck, then you dumping the stretcher when you opened the door, haha! reminds me of the "best of" montages that you used to make.
Everything about this brings me back to the beautiful time of GTA IV: LCPDFR, the ambulances pleasing themselves, every suspect shooting before talking, the useless backup, the slow pursuits and ramming every person on the way it’s a lovely throwback! Getting 2012 vibes 😂 (Obviously I know they’ll probably fix all this as it’s early days development)

But I'm extremely excited to finally see some really awesome pre alpha footage, and the fact the pre alpha is better than most "police sims" says a lot. Super excited to give this a go.
This is how you know Jeff isn't from NYC. Dispatch for all NYPD is not done out of the precinct, there is a whole other building for that somewhere in the city. That is the desk Sgt. That is where all arrest are processed, before bringing people back into the cells. The desk Sgt, is your go to person for anything a patrol officer needs when in the precinct. There is also a patrol Sgt. who is your first line supervisor while out on the street. LOL. Also, finally a new police simulator game based in NYC. The true last police simulator game based in NYC was True Crime NYC for PS2.

This game seems like ifs gonna be great when it's finished the graphics are great and the lighting is great too and rhe thunder storm is freaking awesome!!! I know it’s pre-alpha, but the AI reminded me SO MUCH of LSPDFR. Backup getting lost, leaving sirens on, just standing there letting you get shot, the suspect ramming into cars, the ai dying from a taser, the medic with the stretcher. I think this game will be good.

Yes it is mostly default assets for now but hey it's pre-alpha. But the things they have done right? 1) Lighting, especially the emissives on the emergency lighting 2) Sounds: The gunshots, the thunder, the NYPD siren all good. 3) The weather: I did not expect the weather to be that good, hopefully we'll see slipperiness and accumulating snow. It's got potential, let's hope the devs stick with it.
Very cool, it's less glitchy then the one released police sim you played recently. Little details like the lightning bolts hitting in the distance were different. Also the road patterns look grungy and not pristine which adds to the realism.
This pre-alpha is looking promising, but I wanted to mention something important, I can see that these traffic vehicles come with soft-body physics from unreal engine, but (most) developers haven't been able to get it working properly like on the Xbox and PS5 Matrix demo, it ends up broken with only wobbly-bumpers working like what I've seen from these developers own youtube channel, hopefully I really want the developers to incorporate that amazing destruction system!

Game looks kind of promising. Definitely interested to see where it goes. Also loved hearing sarge haha. I still watch old FivePD episodes all the time those videos still make me laugh no matter how many times I've seen those episodes.
This looks pretty good! Certainly looks like the foundations of a good game, far more care and detail then those horrid 'Police Simulators'. The AI definitely need work, and a damage model for vehicles/ destructive environment is necessary (ie. street furniture) but it's definitely an excellent start. Can't wait for it to be completed. Big GTA IV LCPDFR vibes.
This is most likely going to be the best emergency service sim for 2025. It will dwarf Emergenyc by a landslide. I will keep an eye out for when it becomes available.

This game reminds me of Lcpdfr and Flashing Lights together lol. This actually looks pretty good. Curious to see how it holds up in the future with updates
Like others before it, it has potential depending on whether the devs stick with it or not. It does seem to have a little more going for it out of the gate. But again, time will tell where this game ends up. Game devs if you're reading this multiplayer servers would be nice to have.
I'm always skeptical of a lot of police simulator style games because they almost always end up unfinished. However, this one looks like it has potential. Once they fix the police lighting illumination and expand the map a bit, it looks like this can be really good. I really like how this has a first person mode. One thing a lot of game do wrong is hiding all the actions in behind menus instead of giving good hotkeys for keyboard and controller, so that's going to be a deciding factor for me. The reason why GTA police mods work so well is because the base controls for driving and combat are so good in GTA. This absolutely needs hotkeys for pursuit backup and to call your backup officers to form up on you or engage suspects. You shouldn't need to walk up to your backup and talk to them. They should just automatically respond, especially if you're getting shot at. (Again, this is is a pre-alpha prototype, so I am hoping they add that.) The only other comment is that I hope there is an option to adjust how your officer engages verbally with the public. I know some officers will use profanity as a show of force tactic, but it's something that I don't really care for in games that I play. I'd love to see more of this game, whether that's on new updates or just because you feel like playing it more, Jeff.

This game is already way ahead of “Patrol Officers: Police Simulator” and it’s only in pre alpha
Can't wait for the full release of this police simulator! Pretty similar to GTA 4 LCPDFR since Liberty City is derived from NYC!

Game looks kind of promising. Definitely interested to see where it goes. Also loved hearing sarge haha. I still watch old FivePD episodes all the time those videos still make me laugh no matter how many times I've seen those episodes.
This looks pretty good! Certainly looks like the foundations of a good game, far more care and detail then those horrid 'Police Simulators'. The AI definitely need work, and a damage model for vehicles/ destructive environment is necessary (ie. street furniture) but it's definitely an excellent start. Can't wait for it to be completed. Big GTA IV LCPDFR vibes.
This is most likely going to be the best emergency service sim for 2025. It will dwarf Emergenyc by a landslide. I will keep an eye out for when it becomes available.

This game reminds me of Lcpdfr and Flashing Lights together lol. This actually looks pretty good. Curious to see how it holds up in the future with updates
Like others before it, it has potential depending on whether the devs stick with it or not. It does seem to have a little more going for it out of the gate. But again, time will tell where this game ends up. Game devs if you're reading this multiplayer servers would be nice to have.
I'm always skeptical of a lot of police simulator style games because they almost always end up unfinished. However, this one looks like it has potential. Once they fix the police lighting illumination and expand the map a bit, it looks like this can be really good. I really like how this has a first person mode. One thing a lot of game do wrong is hiding all the actions in behind menus instead of giving good hotkeys for keyboard and controller, so that's going to be a deciding factor for me. The reason why GTA police mods work so well is because the base controls for driving and combat are so good in GTA.
This absolutely needs hotkeys for pursuit backup and to call your backup officers to form up on you or engage suspects. You shouldn't need to walk up to your backup and talk to them. They should just automatically respond, especially if you're getting shot at. (Again, this is is a pre-alpha prototype, so I am hoping they add that.)
The only other comment is that I hope there is an option to adjust how your officer engages verbally with the public. I know some officers will use profanity as a show of force tactic, but it's something that I don't really care for in games that I play.
I'd love to see more of this game, whether that's on new updates or just because you feel like playing it more, Jeff.
