I have a 2005 International 4300 with an SL180 hook, best investment i've ever made, I mostly use it for a chip box for my tree business and i haul my wood chipper but i have other containers so its like i have all these different trucks haha
Im in the midst of buying a hooklift this month.Atlas polar multi lift or a palfinger.Looking for a dt 466,international 4400 or 4300.I did try a hino and an Isuzu already,i hear the problem with these trucks is dealer hostage, they have all the programs for the troubleshooting, where the int. can be repaired by most shops, and the dt 466 has proven to be one tuff mother of a diesel.Love them.
If you buy a Palfinger I can introduce you to the factory manager and get you a discount "maybe" I will put in the word for you get prices and let me know if I can help
cool let us know if you need and pointers we are always willing to help if we can that's what our channel is for we can post a video on what ever you need
@@LaRobertos I built a galbreath 70k hook truck on an old ford l8000 double frame heavy spec dump truck. Sold it for 20k last year building another one now. But realized I sold way too cheap!
I think it depends on the state, but the truck theyre showing here will require a CDL almost everywhere if you are doing work for hire. Even my Silverado 4500 requires one if I was using it for hire or driving it for work. This is the reason you often see "not fit hire" labels on privately owned and used heavy duty trucks or toter home RVs
Subscribed! Why are you running new trucks now? Your old ford was a no DEF simple reliable piece of American iron. Not knocking your new truck but you know what I mean.
Hooklift vs Rolloff? Didn’t hear anything about the difference or which is better hooklift or Rolloff! This video is mostly describing the hooklift and causes!!
I agree it was one of our first videos and still learning how to do videos that make sense we are going to redo this video that was about a year ago I think so we have more experience now stay tuned
I do know the difference, The only thing I like about hooklift is that I don’t have to worry about city wires hanging to low, with the Rolloff that sucker goes up pretty high, I have hit some by accident but not knock them down, Hopefully I never do! And Rolloff off it does pick up the dumpster faster than a hooklift
Juan Valdez hook trucks are least 5 times faster we are going to make a video on cable vs hook next week we have another truck coming with a pro driver and showing the speed difference
I love the message in this video, very motivational. Thanks!!
Wow thanks so much for the Compliment

How did you get air controls without air brakes? Or does your truck have air brakes
Has air
We have a Freightliner m2 being done with a Palfinger HAD185 hooklift.. Hope to have it in the next week or so. Cool videos! My first hook truck.

Ampliroll hook lifts are dual articulating so you don't need to jib out to dump, it's a real nice system..
Palfinger Also has one when bought this one I was more price sensitive
Great video..do you need a CDL for Peterbilt 220?
Yes and know can be 33 r 26 gvwr
What is an approximate cost of that truck with the hook installed

What's your opinion about a Ford 650 or 750 and having install a hook lift system on it,,,
Would u agree or disagree?
Yes def a god choice Ford 750 with light duty tarp
How much does the truck cost ?
If I am just starting out what cabover truck should I start with ?
new I would buy a Peterbilt used any truck you can afford then get a hoist installed onto it new you can get hoist and truck for under $100k

YEs I sold mine to cheap also live and learn I guess LOL for us both can only move forward from here
Does that truck require a cdl?
Michael Carmichael no it does not
yes it does if you are doing work for hire. If you are just owning for your own personal stuff then no.
@@KieranCox if the truck is OVER 26000 GVW you need a commercial CDL so unless your state is different PA requires it over 26K
