Great video as always Logan. Congrats to Sammi and you on your anniversary. Nice the two of you got away for a bit. Happy Holidays to the whole Broyan family and helpers!!!
I keep thinking about an automated bagger for your corn. It seems to me that a system could be assembled fairly easily. First a scale would be needed to get to the 51 pound trip point. A little micro could read the scale and control the auger speed via a VFD. That way the auger ramp down in speed until each bag would be very close to the 51 pounds. I'd need to see the face plate of the motor to determine which VFD to recommend. Switching to a 3-phase motor would give better speed control but I don't know if you can find a cheap used 3-phase motor locally that would fit your auger. We could try it without the speed control but I'm not sure how consistent the weight would be without finishing at a slower speed. Cost would be about $250 not including wire and a pair of metal plates to sandwich the scale. Non-speed control would run about $100, use way less wire but you'd still need the metal plates.
How are you going to share your wonder how many have realized the wonder? Please share your realization of the holiday season as we appreciate and enjoy together.
Merry Christmas Logan to you and your family! Thanks for great videos in 2024! Looking forward to more in 2025!

Have you got a deer yet
He reported in a previous video that he had shot a buck.
It's called a wire tie you put around your paper bag
Look over your shoulder a smoke signals saying Logan is back
Those signals are alive and well year round.
