Y'all got any arcane or fire mage guides for us who don't like to play meta builds?
At the highest ratings it really all comes down to who's better at juking/ landing interrupts.
I do heal in pvp and it's such a fun little mind game. Sometimes I juke sometimes I say f*ck it and go all the way and they let me! Cause they thought I was gonna fake again! 🤣
Mindgames are fun. I've dueled my IRL friend literally thousands of times and can not only predict when he's going to cast and kick it before a cast bar even appears*, but basically everything he'll do. It's always a laugh. We end up doing the most random shit to throw each other off.

This is some random clips with me and my buddies 11 years ago back in Cata.
It's a bit rough quality but man it was fun times. I'd love to get into making content and become better at it.
The beginning clips with the 3s are probably the best. Was playing tripple Dps with me on my Frost Mage with a Awarrior/Ret Pally. Instead of the legendary Warrior/Pally combo having a healer to prop them up I thought of using my Frost Mage and just abuse the ridiculous amount of CC I had to prevent us from even taking damage while the target we pick to kill gets nova'ed or slowed by me and then my warrior and Pally buddy just blew them the f*ck up and I focus on keeping the rest of the team CCed mostly and it worked pretty well lol that's a lot of damage and CC in that comp.
Mages had Ring of Frost, Deep Freeze, Polly, Cold Snap... lmao I had so much CC we didn't need heals cause we never took damage.
But even if we did need heals this was when Ret Pallys where topping people off with word of glory.
And our warrior got to stay on our target at all times between my freezes and our pally giving him nova.

I know that a lot of top TBC arena players, use a complex script plug-in kinda thing for interrupting. (This is like the top 1-50+ players which still does hardcore arena today and has done so ever since the first pservers)
There is a video of it somewhere on youtube - and after I have playing arena for many years, i was absolute in shock after watching it - because I had always wondered how I could be so terrible at fakecasting compared to the others, even thou i've had been playing TBC wow arena for 5-6 years now.
there are probably lots of things like that people use...
The thing is that those scripts are easy to play around tbh

let's be serious, being a better player in arena has for some expansion become synonymous with tracking your interface gauges. Let me see this sort of game play being done with no addons what so ever. Can you stick kick someone, only with a macro, not even knowing where on the map they are? Please make all addons illegal in this game. No weak auras, no enemy cast bars, no enemy buffs. Just let the animations provide the info needed, and not the addons. Make it like wow vanilla, then we can all "praise" rank 1s for how good they really are....
