There are so many videos about Marilyn’s makeup, but I found yours so practical for re-creating it. Kinda makes me want to be Marilyn for Halloween. If you’re looking to make this a series, I would like to see Audrey Hepburn next; she’s my absolute favorite!
i love the classic/modern skin tone application here. i loved the story telling aspect of her makeup artist/relationship and his techniques. explaining why he did the technique. i learned so much in this video, while i did boring computer work. its clear u put a lot of research and care into this video. great production quality!
You should make this your thing!!! Bailey Sarian does spooky stories while doing makeup, and you can recreate historical iconic people’s makeup and give us interesting facts about the person while you’re researching them. What do you think??? Cause this video of yours was very informative and interesting!!! 😊😊😊
You have become my favorite make-up artist to watch. Thank you for the in-depth research and great make-up application. I have learned so much from watching you. What I would have given to have had TH-cam 30 years ago. My love of make-up began at the age of 11 when my mom's best friend bought a Merle Norman studio. She would let me clean up the shop after school and give me makeup. I did that for several years. Growing up I did all my friends and read every magazine and bought Keven Aucoin's book Making Faces. It was my bible. Pat Mcgrath was also an up-and-comer in my time. There were several more who were the pioneers of the makeup world of my time that really don't get the recognition they deserve because of TH-cam, Instagram, and Tik Tok. But times have changed and we change with it. I'm very happy that we have these avenues so that people who didn't have the opportunities to learn any other way have this. I just wanted to say I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. You always teach something different, if you show us a heavy makeup look it's because that's the look you were going for, but your looks are wearable for all ages. That's important. You want to reach all ages, not just 40 and under. Yes, we want to be instructed but not all of us are in front of a camera or going to a photoshoot. Please keep up the great content. Sorry about the rant. :)
The Hollywood 'cleft chin' look 😉💋💜🌺🌹🙏💆♀️🧘♀️ you nailed it all; the version of her every one of us yearns for that would've thrived at 36yrs beyond 'middle prime' to her later years, would celebrate you. Job lovingly, authentically well done! 💋💜👌👍✊👏👏👏👏👏👏🙌🖖🖖💞
this make up tutorial was brilliant one of the best I've seen on youtube when I look at you nikki the first person that springs to mind is sofi loren I mean thar as a compliment xx
Wow Nikki, you did the most look alike Marlyn Monroe!!! Stunning!!!! Lol I’m so glad you stayed that about the Mac stack mascara. I don’t like it either as it’s so dry and pulls on my lashes. Would love to see you do a Cher look. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. As always; love your tutorials. Relaxing; fun; inspiring and I learn so much about placement and blending etc.

YOU DID IT!!! Not sure which photo you referred to, but the final shot with wig and contacts reminded me of the 1962 June photo shoot she did naked behind the sheer cloth, and the orange shirt and Audrey Hepburn-esque pants photos from about the same time. Bravo!!! 💋💞💜👏👏👏👏👏🤳🤳💅👄
Hi Nikki. I just discovered you and your videos. I've learned a lot. If you are taking suggestions for videos, I would like see how you would approach make-up on women in her 40s.
Oops forgot I received my order of the Waleda Skin Food Cream last wk as recommended by Dr.Idriss for lip basting. It’s the Boom!!! Also am using on my face for nourishment. Loving it!!! Would you recommend the Morphe brush set by Ariel?

So great. How did it wear? Did the Vaseline make your lipstick smudge or come off more easily? I like that it's a matte glow. Does that make sense?
Great video!!
