Hi Mr. Mirzabozorg, great video, thanks for the great explanation. What can I do if the time increment decrease to values under 10^-9 during the running? It happens only with lateral loads.
hi. your welcome. in some cases, according to the occurrence of local instabilities or local convergence issues, the time increment size goes below 10^-9. but after they are resolved, time increment size increases. if it doesn't happen, it means that you must do some changes in your model. and the main change can be the change of solver from Abaqus/standard to Abaqus/explicit. one of our services is checking your model settings and suggest modifications for your model in an online session. even if the change of the solver doesn't work, you can contact me via email or Whatsapp.
I found some dude were talking about "instability in hardening" in this video th-cam.com/video/_vdnRe_6lw8/w-d-xo.html (10:53). I was wondering, do you have any idea what does he mean by instability in hardening? The plastic strain were supposed to increased as the stress decrease in hardening phase, isn't it?
Hi. According to your question, I reviewed that part of the tutorial. In that tutorial, instability in hardening means that after reaching the ultimate stress, by increasing of the plastic strain, the stress decreases. He has named this phenomena as hardening instability. But defining the hardening in this manner is not generally correct and you must define the plastic behavior until ultimate point and also define damage to account for softening. These problems can be easily resolved by employing explicit solver instead of implicit solver.
Thanks for your video Mirzabozorg, and I would like to check about using non-linear Riks? will the method be the same? As I've tried your suggestion but it doesn't work for me. Thanks in advance.
hi. you're welcome. actually the static riks step is different. it uses another type of numerical algorithm that is named riks method. what is explained and proposed in this video does not suite the use of static riks step. you can contact me via email, whatsapp or telegram for solving your problem.

while modelling stones column under embankment, i get the error "Error in job EmbankmentJob: Too many attempts made for this increment Job EmbankmentJob: Abaqus/Standard aborted due to errors"
Hi. The only thing that I can say is that your model has convergence issue. For resolving convergence issues, all the settings of the model must be checked because it can have several reasons. In some cases finally you must change the solver and use the Explicit solver instead of the Standard solver. You can contact us to help you resolving this issue. That’s a very helpful video to resolve a common error in Abaqus, thank you very much sir!
Hi.
You are welcome.
Thank you very much for your explanation. It is perfect

hi.
your welcome.
Hi sir, i really liked your videos and want assistance from you can you help me out in abacus
Hi do you teach about concrete Modelling also?? Civil engineering field
hi.
yes I do.
I am a mechanical engineer but near half of my students are civil engineers.
OK. What are the charges for project work?
