People in open relationships think they're better than everybody else. I hope they always fail.
yup they look down on monogamy and traditional morality big time. i will always believe that the nuclear family unit is the best possible way to start your kids life on a solid positive note. sure lots of people can get by without it, but i dont think our objective societal decay is just coincidence

The stat is something like 90% of relationships end within the first year the concept of being "open" is introduced into them.

I wonder how many fellas realize that when your gf brings up the possibility of an "open relationship", that she's already living it to the point that she's concerned about being caught in the "open".
Open relationships? That sounds like being single with extra steps
My brother told me a story about a gay guy he worked with who was in an “open” relationship.The guy said his boyfriend had another boyfriend.The gay guy was feeling left out, and the dude’s boyfriend was like “Well you could get yourself a boyfriend and we can be a “molecule”.” And the dude was like telling my brother “I’m not sure I want that.” And my broke and I were discussing how the guy was clearly being manipulated by his sleazy boyfriend who just wanted really to fuck as many guys as possible.
This is why Matt’s honesty is beautiful. You know he’s not coming from a bad place. Just verbalizing his feelings in a way you can trust. In this case he’s also 100% on point.
If your gf wants an open relationship then she is already cheating or is emotional involved with someone else.
Been in an open relationship for a decade, but we did it from the start. We are insanely comfortable and committed but I know most people can’t do it. That’s totally fine but it’s possible and some love it!

I think being open CAN work under certain circumstances, for instance I have a friend who had a kid at 16 and is now 18 stuck with the baby mama cuz he has nowhere else to go this girl literally took his virginity so he hasn't explored with other chicks they decided to be open so that they can both feed their sexual desires while still being there to raise the kids that being said most of the time it's probably just for her, just saying they're doing well 👌🏻
That's like saying a peg leg is working out as a real leg. It's certainly not but you can still waddle across the deck on it
