- This is the part 1 of Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a 5kW Lithium Battery Pack that I have done at home using JK Smart BMS and Highstar 100AH LFP Prismatic cells.

Building a DIY 5kW Lithium Battery Pack from Scratch . this battery is used as solar lithium battery and not charging it from grid since I have 3kw solar panel capacity, its enough to charge by battery bank + daily usage.
Planning to create a next version after cleaning up the wires and adding a good case to the pack with screen. I have also purchased a 4.3 inch touch screen from JK and that will be added to the next video and now its connected with 2.5" display.

I brought this box from Lionics, you can see the same on their 24V battery pack video. Its not available online, we have to buy locally.

ഇത് ഒരു ഫ്രണ്ട് വഴി arrange ചെയ്തതാണ്. ഡൽഹി യിൽ നിനും. IR നോക്കി കുഴപ്പമില്ല. പിന്നെ 2 മാസം കഴിയുമ്പോൾ കുറച്ചു കൂടി ഡിറ്റൈൽ അറിയാൻ പറ്റും.
How much for BMS kit ? Pls share the list of inverters supporting Its BMS communication. What kind of cooling system used ? Pls replay
It will cost around 10k range for bms it will add extra if you are buying touch screen. I will added the screen shot of supported protocols in English version. I have personally tested Pylontech and Deye protocol. Using natural air cooling and for the inverter cabin using a exhaust fan that is controlled by a thermostat.

Good video. But i personally dont recommend highstar cells. They have very low energy density
The main issue with highstar is we will get different quality items in the market so we need to check the cells properly.
@@techmaster_sree it's datasheet itself tells it has low energy density. Compare it's weight with any other same capacity cells of reputed brands like eve,CALB etc. you will come to know easily
@@netrocker9990 Thanks for mentioning. I have also noticed this when I got EVE 105AH cell since its dimensions are lesser than Highstar.

Ee cell vech 72v 30 ah 3c etra roopa aagum
For 72 volt you have to use a different bms. JK already has that version and its price is around 10k. then for cells if you need proper 3c you have to go with EV grade cells and I have used 1C cells. I will try to get the price and if they are responding i will update the same in comments.
