    In this video I Unbox, Review and Demonstrate the iCarsoft CR Pro+.
    This is where to purchase this tool:
    Amazon (US and General): amzn.to/49ddzU0
    Amazon (Australia): amzn.to/4bmqXH8
    Because I already own the iCarsoft CR Pro Scanner in this video I do a side by side comparison between the upgraded iCarsoft CR Pro+ and CR Pro Scan Tools, highlighting the differences between the two tools. Whilst this Scan Tool is sold as a Scan Tool for an extensive list of vehicles, in this video I personally demonstrate the tool using my Mercedes and Audi.
    I own and have previously demonstrated the following iCarsoft iCarSoft Scan Tools:
    * iCarsoft i980 Scanner for Mercedes
    * iCarsoft VAWS II Scanner for VW/Audi/Skoda
    * iCarsoft CR PRO

    Just a tip. Because an item is new does not mean it comes with the latest firmware/software. It can be the case that this unit has been on a shelf for a lot of months since manufacturing. Maby you had already checked. I do not know, but its always good to check before use. Apart from that. Good video with much information. Keep it up!

      Hi Simon, you are correct yes I should’ve checked the firmware. Shall I make another video to show how to do this? Cheers Drew

      Agreed. My iCarsoft V3.0 was two updates old out of the box. Updating was simple and fast though but don't disconnect it until the unit itself says the update has been fully loaded.
      Great video

    Hey, I just got mine the other day and it worked fine on my Volvo until I decided to update the software... what a mistake that was... Would you be able to send me the files on your SD card for the software? I need the working version of it as mine after the update is dead , it won't even turn on when connected to the car. I believe the files in System folder are corrupted after the update, so at least I need the whole folder from a working device. Thanks, Daniel

    Interesting TY. Would you go for the pro if you only had an Audi considering the limitations you found of the device on Audi?
    Or have you used other scan tools that play better with Audi?
    Mines a 2009 Audi A3 1.9tdi. I could have used a scan tool last week after having the ABS pump and module go at 89,000 miles
    Also I need to confirm what I suspect might be an ecu/ cluster fault. I always want to know the littlest issue that's not on my radar.
    Maybe it can have a knock-on effect to other issues otherwise?!

      Hi Mate, excellent question! What was interesting is that whilst it was annoying having to select the Model in the year range I do not recall having to remember the engine code for the AUDI with the CR PRO, however having said that my gut feeling tells me that iCarsoft could fix the issue in a software release with some VIN lookup code. I think if you couple this thought with the fact that the CR PRO+ has so many additional maintenance functions potentially available then I would definitely go for the CR PRO+. I hope this helps? Cheers Drew

    just buy the cr max, drives under android, little more expensive ,but fas easier to use

    • @DrewFixIt
      @DrewFixIt  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Mate, besides being more expensive for me CR Max is bulkier (as I explained in the video), has a internal battery which will die eventually and actually offers no more functionality over the CR Pro+ thus for me CR Pro+ is the clear winner! But each to themselves :) Cheers Drew
