I was hoping this would work. But unfortunately my Gdrive backup got corrupted and also doesn't show in this program. I think this is because I might have factory reset the phone WHILE it was actually not finished updating the backup on Gdrive. Unfortunate. I think I lost 12+ years of chat data. I'd like to try and see if it can find any backup via the Restore Delete Whatsapp messages, but I cannot see if it actually finds any intact data so I'm a bit hesitant to shell out 40 USD.

I used the "Transfer Chat" function to transfer the WA chats from the old to the new phone. The problem is that all of my starred messages ( photos/videos) are in the new phone, but they are not visible. They have a download arrow on top of them, but when I click on the download, it fails. All of the photos are still on my new phone but just not displaying/playing in WA starred messages. I hope you can help. Can you app help with this? Thx.

Showing that this video was not helpful that all, So next time please title your video properly because a lot of people Have actually disliked your video more than likes.

i have a blackberry passport and hack so i can download whatsapp from google play, when i try to backup chats to google drive it says "unable to access your account at this time, please try again later" i can back up to the local drive, but i need to put it on the drive so i can install it to the new phone what can i do?

Can you do this with out the original phone and sim ie changed phone and number is the a 2 stage in if no text received a email can be used ?
