the spinning after a contact comes from overcorrecting, while trying to catch a car you either steer too far into the other direction or steer too long into it, getting it just right comes with practice in the car, each car is also slightly different when trying to catch it. I drive lamborghini and my antiroll bar is alweys in the midle and that makes it more stable and easyer to catch when being hit by other cars...
