    Did you guys book your stay through the resort or did you guys use like Expedia or Hotwire ? We are going in 2 weeks , but I heard that if you book all inclusive through Expedia you have to pay for all inclusive again when you arrive .

    • @SippingSunset
      @SippingSunset  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Anytime we book in Mexico it’s always directly through the resort! There’s less of a chance for “surprises”😁 Thanks for watching and have a great trip, cheers!

      @@SippingSunset If you like guaranteed sunshine and desert and can live with expensive prices off resort then Cabo is good. We are Riviera Maya/Playa Mujeres people normally. We go to Cabo once in a blue moon because it’s a direct 4 hour flight from Seattle and we mostly stay on the resort.

    Hey is the beach private for the people staying at the Reef? Also is there chairs on the beach for clients from the hotel? Thanks in advance!

    • @SippingSunset
      @SippingSunset  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nope it’s a public beach about 2 blocks away. There is a great beach club there called Mamitas. Also you can get a day pass for the Reef Playacar or Reef Coco Beach, both of those resorts have a private beach. Thanks for watching🍻

    Are there any events there

    • @SippingSunset
      @SippingSunset  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a pretty small resort, other than a DJ in the afternoon there’s no events. Mamitas beach club is just a couple blocks away, they always seem to have something going on! Thanks for watching 🥂

    I am considering both the Hilton Playa Del Carmen and The Reef 28, which would you recommend

    • @SippingSunset
      @SippingSunset  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the Hilton is about double the price of the Reef 28. It’s a much larger and nicer property. If it’s in your budget, the Hilton is awesome. If you want a smaller boutique experience choose the Reef. Both locations are excellent, they are only a couple blocks from each other. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!

    The thing that sucks about this is it is not an adults only hotel. The three restaurants downstairs are open to the public even though it is part of the adults only all inclusive package. When I was there three kids were running around the Asian restaurant with chopsticks in their noses. I lost my shit with management and packed my shit immediately and went next door to the grand Hyatt. I was told only the rooms and rooftop bar are adults only. If it wasn’t for that this would rate much higher in my book. Wont be back and I am probably blacklisted from ever going back. For the money I feel people would be much better off going to the old Panama jacks which is now the Wyndham and adults only. Next to the Hilton.

    • @SippingSunset
      @SippingSunset  ปีที่แล้ว

      We didn't have any kid problems there during our stay. We would have been upset too if kids were running around!
