Allison automatic gearbox HD 4500 P. Payload up to 22 t. Change of tires 525 / 65 R 20.5. Increased body volume. Wheelbase 4750 mm.
The truck was presented at 2018 IAA commercial vehicles, Hannover, Germany - Thursday, 20 September - Thursday, 27 September 2018. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Ironic that it has an Allison automatic transmission (a US company). Beautiful vehicle!

Wow Zetros Wow. Headlamps r mounted bumper's ends. They're small but I assume they're adequate. Rear axles are all equipped with three differencials.
Torque seems to be unlimited. This Giant is huge. It's certainly a machine with distinction.

Why Mercedes is not producing sleeper cabs like Kenworth T880 or Peterbilt 579 Ultraloft or Freightliner Cascadia?
They do for other trucks, like the Actros. They mostly are not that big sleeper cabs due to smaller roads in the EU. In most EU countries your vehicle is not allowed to be longer than 18,75m (61,5 feet) in total.

I believe that the last rear axle on the 3543 zetros truck is a steering axle that would make sense.

First it's not BIGGER than an Actros, because it has not the big engine and not the big transmission and not the big cab.
And it's converted with the forth axle, not original MB.

Easy to see why America has banned the import of foreign trucks. Their domestic vehicles just can't compete with this kind of stuff in a free and open market.
American commercial trucking industry really has no use for such off road capable trucks. There is pavement nearly everywhere.

In over 30 years of trucking... the most "extreme" off roading I've seen anyone doing, is visiting a construction site.
We have nothing like the Siberian wilderness or what have you.

Don't get me wrong... I would LOVE to have a Zetros.
And even more so... I would love to have a valid NEED for such a truck. I would much prefer trucking to some wilderness over being around our cities.
@@bobinthewest8559 Right, because you're trucking, in a road truck, so you only saw other road trucks. Alaskan wilderness isn't much different from Siberian wilderness. Even your own emergency services have to use repurposed FMTV's for fire roads, some national forest service roads, and BLM land. You sound like you think you're talking to someone who doesn't have direct experience with this.
