he hasn't put much out in the last year, other than the little podcast thing he's been doing. seeing him this excited about putting a setup together is extremely refreshing, we are starting to see the old happy bubbly kyle that we all fell in love with.

You knock it out of the park on the paint job and I'm not gonna lie, as much as I love the black, the white w/ black trim looks absolutely sweet.

i would probably put some sort of washer under the lower bracket thing, so that it tilts up slightly to compensate for the slight sag once you put the case on it.

There is no way in hell I would put my 7000D full tower PC on that side desk extension. It weighs like 60 lbs.

glad to see good ole Kyle back. the setup looks sick. love the symmetrical look and options available for the desk. i have a cheap but practical desk from amazon that has worked for me for years but if i had the space and $$ i'd do a customised painted desktop like he did. or custom vinyl decal wrap. great job sir.

man. that elgato frame system makes it more like a workbench. i really dig that. working on electronics projects or RC vehicles on that desk would be awesome. you could hang tools all over the desk. raise the work surface to where you want to work on your project. use PC for instructions or to watch bitwit videos while you work. now you got me wanting to retrofit that elgato kit to my desk.

Platform 6 gives me Ikea Jerker desk vibes from 20+ years ago, a really cool computer desk at the time. My roomate had one and it had a ton of modularity like the Platform 6 with upper storage and bolt on side shelves or under desk raised PC shelf, etc. People were really pissed when IKEA discontinued it but there's a thriving refurb/used market for them all these years later.
