I did my merciless build with the Eagle Grasp gloves with a Zwaidoka chest with glass cannon and finished it off with 3 umbra and the ninja bike backpack. What I lose in damage talent on the backpack, I make up for with the increase fire rate and healing from the umbra 4 piece talents. The 3 piece Zwaidoska also makes the merciless a laser beam. No recoil at all.
The only thing I don't like about umbra is having to dip into cover to rebuild the stacks but it's a good fit 100% agree. Another person posted a similar idea but 3 striker with 2 zoo and nbb and glass cannon. Less crit focused but just more amped damage. Umbra with chest side steps glass cannon downside and should give more output.
"Worst exotic" Oh come now. We don't talk about Sacrum Imperium, but that one is truly useless. Now you know that it's not trash, you just gotta meet it where it is and work with it.
Well at least the Dev team gave us a useful exotic this season! Liked the use of a piece of palisades, gives you that little bit of armor recovery as you're moving about the battlespace. You've got power to spare on this build, so I used memento and a zoo chest w/ unbreakable and breezed through heroic content. I'm calling the build B.A.M. -- born again merciless.
The problem with the Merciless is that is shares the same amount of reserve ammo as a rifle that fires at a rate of 280 RPM. It plays more like an AR than a Rifle, which means if you are not constantly moving and picking up ammo, you're going to run out. Part of the reason i don't like using the MDR either. I can build around it to make it feel really good, make it do a lot of damage, etc, but if i am not constantly going on little scavenger hunts while doing open world content, to collect more ammo, i'll run out before i even complete 1 Control Point.

As a turret/drone skill build player, my all time favorite weapon has been the harmony. All these updates have made it even better now. Except for the fact that it doesn't make any sound when I fire it. They break just as much shtuff as they fix. 😅
I tried a rifle build out, all reds, groupo, cheska, fox’s, 3 pc Zoo or whatever. Glass or Oblit Vigilance or that 15% dmg while in cover backpack. Seems “ok” ish. Mk 17//sig762 with boomerang. I decided to cut the crits and add armor regen + crits + glass + vigilance. Seems more sustainable with 50+ chc and 120 ish chd
I prefer lucky shot with the higher RPM rifles (esp m1a cqb). Also have a coyote version with minimal crit (32%) for even more handling/CHD that is used at standard off distances.
Or they could just revise the weapon to make it competitive... i miss the year one merceliss. The explosive damage it did on hit rather then this weird stacking mechanism was so much more fun. That with the bombedier drone before they destroyed that skill to use to be amazing.

Mod: crit damage) (Talent: Obliterate) Holster: Zwaidowka Sp. z o.o. (core: Offense) (Weapon handling + crit chance) (Kneepads: Fox's Prayer) (core: offense) (crit chance) (it gives my 6mill damage max and allot of bonus defense) and even if you kill the enemy with defense primer it gives you 10% more damage on armor per stack and doubles on 10 so thats 200% more damage to armor with all that bonus armor)
Explosions??? Regulus or True Patriot. I do appreciate your creativity for making an Exotic I never used now useable. The Schweaty Sac-rumimperium is still the worst exotic, not this gun.
I'm on PS5 I've been using those new weapon handling gloves and any type of lmg even the ravenous rifle has no sound it's really weird I was just wondering if anybody else has noticed it I'm on PS5 there is no sound effects to lmgs or the ravenous
anything you can hammer to get the explosion. it's RPM is dumb for the handling has always been it's issue (and so low shot damage and recoil catches up to it and it breaks your finger spamming it). also don't like it with ammo directives since it's so hongry.
I must have sensory issues because this thing could be firing nukes but it sounds weak, like a one of this salt guns for shooting flies. ‘Tut-tut -- tut-tut - tut-tut’ Thanks by the way TUX. Did I mention my dog ate my character? 😫

use oblit and your shield. pack talent can be composure or companion. if you wanted to lean into companion (use a heal drone), you can build this with Henri as well.
What rifle do you think is improved the most with the new gear?

That's why I run Gunner... automatically regenerates ammo

The second I saw what the zoo gearset did, i immediately made a merciless build and it's almost exactly the same as this🤣🤣🤣
