Listen I've watched many TH-cam vids on how to's...about anything really but honestly yours is amazing. The breakdown and the resources provided, the explanation and the reasons behind your particular approach. hats off my guy...here goes my susbscription
Not gonna lie I was ready to throw in the towel on becoming any type of software engineer bc it’s so hard to get an internship or job but this video gave me new found hope especially bc I’m also in the DMV area
This video is super helpful and really specific. I’ve got a few things to add to my list of ways to become a software engineer. It gives me a broad overview of the role. Plus, it can also be combined with my finance knowledge. I studied computer science and finance, but now I realize they’re two different majors. You explained that software engineers work for companies and help them meet their goals. Learning engineering is so important. I used to study kinesiology for a long time, but now AI, computer science, and other cool stuff are all on the rise. Now that I have more time to study
wow bro You’re a great mentor and a great channel all around. I can’t express enough how much I really enjoy your videos and appreciate the knowledge you share. I appreciate your passion!
Guys, the best advice I could give you is, try to land a simple position at good tech companies. It’s easier to move up internally because you’ll be able to build a network talking to people. This is if you don’t have a degree yet..
@ depends on the sector of the company. For Tesla, you could start as a workplace associate or security. For Apple, you could do the sales in store. The point is to be an employee of the company regardless of the position…

Thank you so much. Started this year at 30 studying Information Technology Bachelor in Australia, really interested in becoming a software engineer and I am going to follow this blueprint. If it is not too much to ask it would be so great to have the opportunity to talk to you and tell you about my story, sometimes I feel a little bit lost in this new path that I am taking. Cheers!
This video is really inspiring! I'm a school dropout, but software engineering is my passion. Could you please advise if it's still possible for me to become a software engineer without a degree? Should I even begin this journey? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! pls must reply
Can any of u give me an advice..i am going to start my bachelors soon..but i can't choose what to do between SE and AI..first,i thought to do SE for bachelors and then do my masters in AI..but the more i searches abt those the more confused i am..if anyone can give me some ideas it will be appreciate.
Is it possible to start a career in DevOps without prior experience in frontend, backend, or network engineering? If possible could I start with the above resources? I have 4 months experience as frontend dev. Is there enough opportunities for fresher as devops ?I heard without experience companies don't hire devops engineer. Is it true? I am a full-time job holder, and investing that much time is a really big investment for me.I hope you have understood what I wanted to say.
great video to get started. amazon provides free tuition for their in house SDE program. either 6 month or 9 month based on which learning source you sign up. the 6 month starts in 2 weeks. guna test out some of the starter stuff you mentioned to see if its a good fit for me before i sign up for the program . do u have a video on the varying tech companies to work for as an engineer ? google amazon microsoft. id assume they all have fun work styles and just being apart of them is big enough. but are there any major points working between companies? is it harder to work for one over the other ?
uhhh Can you make a resume guide for self taught devs??/ cuz i graduated HS very early and can't afford to go to college so i'm teaching myself web dev and hope to get job early next year. (i'm a us citizen) i currently know css and html. (i'm learning advanced js.) (i'm 16 rn and will turn 17 early next summer )
How do people make 500K with just 3-4 years of experience? They must be einstein or something. Same for those that make 190K with just 1 year of experience.
Bro, let’s stop with this kind of videos already and be realistic . The market is terrible especially for entry level with no prior experience. The glory days of “learn to code and get a job in 6/12 months” is over.
Just finishing up my final project in CS50x. Can't wait to start working on other projects and building out my portfolio! Hoping to land a programming job by the end of 2025 or early 2026!
Just finished an interview with Amazon for SDE Sajjad. Wish me luck and thank you!
Good luck!
Good luck all the best
Good luck, let us know how it goes
wow and is this based on Seattle?
Good luck 🤞

@@SadicSsentongoI self studied for 2 years prior to my degree and still try do projects.
@delano9179 because the tech industry is always changing. By the time you finish, there will be new technologies out there, and you need projects .

Goodluck to anyone. If you don’t have a degree, don’t even try. It’s too saturated and you’ll be fighting an uphill battle.
At this point I wouldn’t even recommend STEM fields it’s way too saturated.
