vegeta not killing buu in his explosion is honestly cruel but also justice at the same time, because it just goes to show sometimes u cant make amends for what you've done but you can still do right going forward.
When I first saw him blew up I honestly cheered. He was so irredeemable here, but when he returned that's when I start seeing a new character in him. Vegeta challenging kid buu by himself to give goku time and his second sacrifice attempt to go with buu via spirit bomb was my version of this scene. Those moments were far more convincing on his new form of selflessness. Even finally letting go of his goku addiction (for a time) was iconic to me.

Vegeta lucky he padded that K/D against innocent civilians cause if it were just his actual fights we were counting he'd have a worse K/D than my average round of TF2
Vegeta has had a lot of bad beatdowns in his time but in terms of pure raw beats, nothing matches the collective series of ass whoopings Buu gave the prince of all whipping boys along his various forms. It was bad, every time. You know it's bad when the biggest victory he can muster is just being able to stand up again when all's said and done
What I appreciate about this fight, despite Buu clearly not having the reflexes to keep pace with Vegeta's flurries, he was able to adapt through strategy and effective use of his own tools He went from being sand bagged to controlling the situation. Enough that it became an opponent that Vegeta didn't understand and therefore have no answer for. Imagine if in an MMA fight, one of the challengers was using his size to maintain the advantage until suddenly the other pulled out the drunken fist making him harder to track. It's a no holds barred competition, meaning that any strategy is fair play. The taller man caves and reveals he had a grenade in his shorts the entire time I greatly enjoyed the pacing of this character introduction. The 3rd Z arc was definitely a slow burn, but it became frightful in all but 12 episodes. A pressure cooker until the meat was just right What came after fat buu was an acquired taste on Toriyama's part, but I'm convinced that his art isn't in universe building but designing memorabilia, which I suppose is good for brand recognition I don't know whether I was meant to learn something about the brand, but the visual component made me feel things as a child
Boo just wasn't defending himself in the beginning. The anime drags it out, but in the manga, Vegeta does a brief flurry on Boo and Boo promptly regenerates like it's nothing. It's not uncommon for Boo to let his enemies score from free licks that don't do damage.
