You give all options and suggestions to make a trip less complicated as possible. Last time I visited Segovia and Avila, we took a car, and you’re right, parking was always a bit of a problem. But the trip was still memorable. 👍 My only regret was I didn’t get to spend more time to visit more places of interest . Hi, Tony, may I ask if it’s at all possible to do royal palace of Madrid in the morning and Segovia in the afternoon + early evening? We have only 2 days in Madrid and want to use one to see Toledo and the other to see palace and Segovia. Ideally by train or bus but it’s too stretched I m thinking of hiring a car as an option too. Thank you!

Hi Max. By your Madrid to Ávila a few days before travel. It's quite complicated to reach Segovia from Ávila, only a handful of buses per day. Check times here: www.avanzabus.com/otrosdestinos/avila/
