Very good video Tony, with practical and simple info about how to get from Lisbon to Porto, excellent.
You´ve only missed that Porto has a very good Metro system that you can take directly outside Campanhã train station at...Campanhã Metro station !! The Metro 9 lines take you directly downtown and around the city metropolitan area including the Porto international airport, the seaside areas of Porto and Matosinhos, etc, and even to the resort nearby cities of Vila do Conde an Povoa Varzim.

To me the best side is the right side because if you go from Lisbon to Porto, you going to have a great view from the Tagus river alongside From Lisbon to almost Santarém. My company have branches in Porto and in Lisbon and because work they send me lots of times to Porto and they pay me the train ticket (they refuse to buy the bus ticket, because they want to be lower carbon emissions), and they refuse we use the company car (it's impossible because is a Renault zoe electric and we need to recharge lots of times to make the trip) and i travel in AP ( AlfaPendular the train that reach 220km/h) and i know well the views and the right side is the best between Lisbon and Porto and the left side if you go from Porto to Lisbon.

All your Lisbon and Porto videos are SO helpful! Thank you. I have a question regarding luggage size for the overhead storage on the InterCity trains. We will be traveling with three suitcases, one of which is large and doesn't fit into an airplane overhead storage. Is there size limits on the trains for luggage storage? If a suitcase doesn't fit overhead (and clearly it won't fit under the seat) is there additional space somewhere in the carriage? Thanks in advance for any guidance. Hi Elle, you should check the CP baggage rules here: www.cp.pt/passageiros/en/how-to-travel/Useful-information/luggage-transport There is room for large suitcases on one end of the carriages, but on the fast trains you are only allowed to board with just the one piece, any additional piece of luggage is considered as excess baggage.
