  • How to Make a Crossbody Bag | The Sewing Room Channel🧵
    In this tutorial I will demonstrate how to make a really cute crossbody bag.
    ✂️✂️SUPPLIES AND CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS✂️✂️
    Outside fabric: 1/2 yard or 1 fat quarter
    -(1) 3 1/2" x 10 1/2"
    -(6 1/2" x 10 1/2"
    -(1) 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
    -(2) 2" x 42"
    -(2) 1 1/2" x 3"
    Lining: 1/3 yard or 1 fat quarter
    -(1) 3 1/2" x 10 1/2"
    -(1) 6 1/2" x 10 1/2"
    -(2) 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
    Zippers: (2) 9" zippers
    *Optional: Iron-on fusible interfacing: 1/3 yard

    Thank you again for a fantastic and easy way to make a bag. I'm going to make one using fusible fleece and adding a pocket or two inside. I'm also going to make a wider strap for more comfort. I love the way you added the outside zipper pocket. God bless.

    Yay! I've been wanting to make one of these. Any suggestions for the length of strap for a curvy girl? It seems like more length might be helpful. It's a gift for a special person but I won't be able to measure them.

      Hi Linda. I'm not sure. But consider this - if her hips are wide, she may not want the bag to hit the hips. It will make her hips look wider. But ... is she likes to place the bag in front of her hips, it may not be a problem. Look to see where she currently places her bag. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

    I would like to make the bag a little larger but how do I determine what sizes to cut my fabric pieces. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

    I just made this and the zipper pocket looks weird. I thought it was an actual pocket but it just opens and you see the lining of the bag did I do it wrong

      I too when I open the zipper pocket I see the wrong side of the fabric. Trying to figure out what I did wrong
