ZIPPER LINED CROSS BODY BAG

- In this tutorial I show you how to make a zipper lined cross body bag. If you are new at installing a zipper, I show you how to add one to your bag. This was a fun little project and it can be used to make many bags as gifts.
What you need for this Zipper Lined Cross Body Bag:
2- 10 1/2" Squares of Main Fabric
2- 10 1/2" Squares of Lining Fabric
13" Zipper
2- 1 1/2" X 2 1/2" Strips for the Zipper Pull and Stop
4- 2 1/2" Strips for the Strap (You will need to sew these pieces together, unless you cut on long piece that is suitable to you. It's your bag, do what works best for you.)

It looks very pretty. I like the colors a lot. I need to make a few of those. And I need to make a couple of fabric storage boxes to put my scraps in. I cute too many little squares to make end pieces on some of the mask and I have a few other scraps so far. I can't wait to make a scrapy quilt. Thank you so much. Wonderful video. I have been making cross-body bags with handwoven cloth from organic cotton yarn. I have had problems with my sewing machine being able to sew all the layers of the fabric. Your technique should solve my problems! Yea!

Hi Tegan- I think they were 15” in length. The best way to figure the length is to measure where you want the length to be on yourself and then cut it that length. I hope that helps. 😊

YOur hands are hiding what you're doing. Where is strap placed? Centered between lining and bag or on one or the other?
I agree. I am stuck at this point because I cannot see how the strap was placed. :-(
