private practice is actually pretty important to watch for greys, bc there's a character that shows up in private practice that switches over to greys after the show ends and becomes a series regular in season 11 and private practice gives sooo much backstory and so much happens with this character over there that is really important for their development and its stuff that gets referenced a lot in greys so i actually highly recommend watching it. its a character that becomes a really big part of greys anatomy. and private practice is actually quite good. the backdoor pilot sucks, but the actual show is much better than the backdoor pilot makes it look!
This introduction doesn't do Private Practice justice. I've seen every episode and it was a great show. And it introduces us to an iconic Grey's character.❤
Back in the day I hated this backdoor pilot too... mainly because they just forced it on us, but it worked because I got to watch Private Practice later and it is actually quite enjoyable. I love Addison as a leading character
Don't hate on the actual show Private Practice until you've seen the actual show. This backdoor pilot was not that great, but the actual show was decent. Also, there are episodes where characters cross over, storylines crossover with the shows, so you might miss some story moments.
I didn’t watch private practice right away because this episode didn’t make it seem good. But I’m glad I watched it. I met my absolute favorite character. Charlotte King
Actually highly recommend private practice. This back door pilot does it no justice but the show itself is actually good. Also there’s a character that we first meet on private practice but then joins greys anatomy at the end of season 10 and so much happens to them on private practice and character growth that is referenced on greys but you can’t really understand unless you watch it.
I love private practice! This pilot is pretty bad but when you start watching it gets so good. One of my favorite greys person came from this show. Love Addison too! You should check that one out! Maybe not reactions if you dont want but important information about some of the characters.
I genuinely REALLY liked private practice. absolutely not better than greys, but truly a decent show. I personally could gone without maybe the last 2 seasons cause I think the show ended up extending more than it show but most of the seasons are great. Private practice started in the middle of greys and so many episodes are on the same timeline and things that happen in greys some times gets mentioned, as well as characters from private practice leave for one episode to go to greys and vise versa. Also, maybe a little spoiler but I won’t say the name, one of the best greys anatomy characters (in my opinion) who becomes a main character and series regular in season 11 gets introduced as one of the main characters in private practice before going to greys full time.
Yeah its not until this two parter specifically that Shondas writing or maybe the writers room in general kind of becomes samesy....idk you can definetely see some writing beets that are repeated...just the way ppl speak in this epsiode its SO apparent...especially how Addison is depicted in this episode...not my favorite
I tried to watch Private Practice but I couldn't. I found it so boring! Love Addison, but no... And I hated that Addison left Greys because she was so great there.
i feel ya on this episode, i wish it had been a one parter cause i really didn’t care about any of these people even with Taye Diggs who i love. i did try to watch Private Practice cause of it spinning from Grey’s but i never really got into it. and as for Station 19, i think that one is excellent, ways better than Private Practice imo. i’m sad it’s having its last season.
There are multiple crossover episodes between Private Practice and Grey's, Station 19 and Grey's so if you're not going to watch Private Practice or Station 19 fair warning don't rage when you are confused
I had the same reaction as you. Still can't believe private practice exist for long. So boring. But Addison actress is Amazing and beautiful. It's the ONLY explanation for me
I know you love Callie and dislike Izzie (apparently with a passion) at the moment 😅But let's be honest here for a second.... Izzie is stunning. No one in this show, and I mean no one could ever outshine her as a bridesmaid. There.. I said what I said 😃
In what way?💀cos I promise you I’m not, I hated Alex which everyone cried about, like Meredith which people were surprised by and don’t like Derek (which most people do) so curious what you’re referring to here

Private Practice back door pilot
I actually really like private practice, this backdoor pilot does it dirty haha

Oh a fun thing to know about greys anatomy is that each episodes are names after song titles. I am sure you will recognise alot of them
Back in the day I hated this backdoor pilot too... mainly because they just forced it on us, but it worked because I got to watch Private Practice later and it is actually quite enjoyable. I love Addison as a leading character

Watch private practice I loved it!
I'm always waiting for mark to have a story that is not around sxx, Alex's character was like that in the beginning but his character keps developing

Private Practice turned out to be enjoyable. You should watch it. It had some fantastic storylines.
Addison isn't usually this awkward, is she?

Grey's Anatomy > Station 19 > Private Practice
I love all of them, but Greys is the best, the other shows aren't even close to as good (for me).
I tried to watch Private Practice but I couldn't. I found it so boring! Love Addison, but no...
And I hated that Addison left Greys because she was so great there.
same, i couldn’t get into it. i thought it was pretty bad. i was surprised it went on as long as it did.

I’ve never watched private practice but there is one character who starts off there and comes to grey’s later on that I really liked

Private practice is so good😭😭😭
I don't like this episode either but I knew you would make it hilarious with your reactions and snide comments.
Joe, this is one of your funniest videos 😂😂😂😂
Private Practice is actually a pretty good show. This "pilot" doesn't do it justice.
I'm glad that you are not going to react to Private Practice, that show traumatized me
Love the roasting 🔥 😂
Oh no. I haven't watched it, but I hope it's not too bad :(
them dad jokes are great!
What is private practice which everyone is taking about??
Yes this is the backdoor pilot to Private Practice
I had the same reaction as you. Still can't believe private practice exist for long. So boring. But Addison actress is Amazing and beautiful. It's the ONLY explanation for me
Private practice wasn’t as bad as pilot by any means… nowhere near greys caliber but still good.
Maybe this is what you get for dropping OC reactions ..😮
Private practice was acc pretty good, but this episode sucks so badly as an pilot.
the show actually had it's moments. this episode was not great however.
First episode for a spin off!
Supernaturals backdoor pilot is the wprst thing I saw, had to skip most pf the episode
I know you love Callie and dislike Izzie (apparently with a passion) at the moment 😅But let's be honest here for a second.... Izzie is stunning. No one in this show, and I mean no one could ever outshine her as a bridesmaid. There.. I said what I said 😃
The pilot sucked, but private practice was great!
You are so influenced by other people's opinions 🤪 Callie, Alex, Izzie... You can't please everyone!
In what way?💀cos I promise you I’m not, I hated Alex which everyone cried about, like Meredith which people were surprised by and don’t like Derek (which most people do) so curious what you’re referring to here
shut up sloan. 😒
