This is just world class golf instruction. Can’t tell you how much Pozak has helped my golf game over the last few years! Gone from shooting low 80s two consistently in the mid to low 70s. I’m actually gonna spend some money in the store right now to say thank you. Cheers. Rich
This is foundational knowledge. I wish someone had taught me this when I was a kid. And to those who have only seen Adam on TH-cam, the camera does not do his impact justice. He absolutely mashes the ball. It's almost shocking how heavy and solid his impact sounds. It's awesome!
Adam you're the best, I've vetted your content with 2 former college golfers and a retired Korn Ferry tour player. Everyone says...stick with that. And when you've exhausted it...get on the plane to see him. 84 to a 77, goal is scratch within a year.
That is an excellent tip but hold onto the L shape thru impact too long may lead to slice or poor impact strike. You should hold the L shape and release at the right time to square the club face to the ball. The hip has to continue to rotate.
My ball flight tends to be on the low side, so I suspect I may already be in that position, and worry that attempting to hammer the nail into the wall could lead to even lower ball flight (and potentially keeping the club face open too long, the hand in at the wrong height, and too descending into the ball). Do you have players you teach that already do that too much?
I used to do this well, but ball flight was too low/hardly any dynamic loft/ couldn’t hold a green. So I tried to get more height and spin and am now struggling much more with flips and poor contact. Hcp up from 5 to 10. Now I wish I was doing this again and struggling to hold a green.😂
So are you saying the grip gets weaker as the club gets closer to the driver? A 3 wood is very flat faced compared to a 9 iron. Your hands look very strong with the club you are demonstrating.

This is the best video! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Could you do the same type of video like this but about the wrists and the driver? ❤
Brilliant, one of his best

Great lesson! Thanks!
do woods and drivers have the knockdown feeling as well?
Man I love this exactly what I needed
Awesome lesson
Adam, does this smacking the wall position where everything lines up with our lead leg, apply to all clubs?
One word “brilliant”.
Loved this.

Another banger lesson

I think he means that the hands match the “face angle” which is different from the “loft.” That’ll be the same whether it’s the driver or the 9 iron.
hammering nail in right pocket with L angle is exactly right
Another load of TH-cam crap
