Nice finish! Question: with motor parts such as manifolds and engine block, can you put hi fill and filler in between etch & colour?? Is it ok with the heat??

yeah defiantly . its really no different to the painted surface in your engine bay.

how would you go about painting a crashbar? its half hidden but i want to paint it matte black to flow better with my skid plate. it's an aluminum crash bar, would you still recommend sanding, priming, painting, and i've also seen ppl use clear coat as well. do you think that's necessary for my case?

Matte clear is going to give you a nicer matte finish . Be more durable than another single stage matte products . As for the prep work yeah! Follow this video for the best results . Otherwise you could run into delamination/ paint flaking off

Mate I'm painting my snorkle satin black but don't have any sorta gear like you have so just going to be rattle canning it going to prep the same way you did but should I apply a 2k clear afterwards as I can't get my hands on 2k can paint

Instead if wax and grease cleaner can i use brake cleaner? 😂

Possibly lol providing it’s silicone free it might work if I was honest
