Another day on tour with Megadeth! Do you wanna know what was going on in our trip to Turkey? It is a day off and I found a few street musicians , I tried to play with them.
Here is some snapshots of life on the road, of what it's like living the dream of playing around the globe in a legendary band with great people and killer musicians.
Not only I have the chance to play in amazing cities, but also something we have the time to visit, enjoy and learn a lot about other cultures. Isn't it the perfect job?

Aqui eu quero mostrar a vocês um pouco de nossas viagens e como tudo acontece nos bastidores, os shows, as entrevistas e, claro, os momentos de lazer, turismo e cultura que a vida na estrada nos proporciona. 25 years ago, my father bought this "baglama" for me. When it broke I glued it together. I played it for years although my taste in music shifted to metal. I gave the baglama to a friend a few years ago and bought guitar to play metal, especially Megadeth.
Then one day, the guitarist of Megadeth, Kiko tried to play a megadeth song on the very baglama broken, fixed and given away. I recognized it from the scars and other details. The world can be very interesting.

Não tem mistério para se dar bem na profissão que escolhemos, apenas trabalho duro, é quase certo o reconhecimento vir em seguida.
+fabricio cavalcante da silveira neto, é sempre tempo de dar um reset na vida irmão. Desculpe a pergunta mas você tem quantos anos meu caro? Pois bem, tenho amigos bem mais velhos que eu que começaram a tocar instrumento, por exemplo já aos 50 anos, e atualmente já estão tocando na noite com banda, se reinventando após os 50 anos.
Sempre há tempo, apenas devemos pensar fora da caixa e tentar enxergar fora da névoa em que se encontra o Brasil ;)

Playing eastern instruments who are made for microtonal scales, is a challenge for the western musician. Loved that video! Greetings from Greece.
What is a micro tonal scale
Spetznaz Ninja in western culture we have 12 tones in an octave. Other cultures have more
Spetznaz Ninja there are many alternative scales and interval variations of notes other than that of major and minor scales. especially used in classical Turkish music. Please check Mustafa Itri Efendi.
@@Max-The-Axe they divide the chords in smaller pieces (frets) and therefore trained ears can identify more tones between notes. Try listening to Arabic or Indian music, you will get the difference.

Ya Ahmet amcayı görmeyeli yıllar oldu. Eskiden meydan da çalardı ama uzun zamandır görmüyordum. Bu da 2016 gerçi umarım iyidir. Çok iyi adamdır. Stüdyo dönüşü hep muhabbet ederdim onunla, ona pena falan verirdim denemesi için.
