Hello hello so good to see you!!! I had to search you out for some reason I stopped getting your notifications. I'm glad to hear things are going well. Congrats on the new job!
Hello again!!! I haven’t been posting so much so maybe that’s part of it, but I’m hoping to post at least once a week! Thank you so much for being here!! 💞🤗🧶
Hi Nadeige! Happy 2024! Hope you, your fiance, and all your furbabies have a wonderful, happy, healthy new year! Best of luck with your new job (sorry, I knew you hoped not to have to get one, hope you like this one WAY better than the last one!) Brownie comfort piggie is doing well (he's SO CUTE! Thank you for listing him!), and keeping my IKEA comfort piggie company. Would you believe I never had an advent calendar? I guess money had always been so tight I didn't want to take a chance on 'wasting' money if I didn't like the contents inside. I've made a few for friends using little embellished tins attached by magnets to an embellished cookie sheet with little papercrafting related goodies back when I was primarily a papercrafter and had not yet learned how to crochet, it was fun! Awwww, yaay for Ruby appearance!! Those reindeer stitch markers are adorable! I think the wool needle is like a 'doll needle' - it's long so you can stab it through puffier areas of amigurumi, something like that? You could use the itty bitty yarn skeins to make one of those 'in the event of a crochet emergency - Break Glass!' shadow boxes - you can search for images of these. I like dot grid notebooks, I am in the process of picking one out on Amazon to keep track of my crochet projects (I have a table in MS Word right now, but I like having a tangible notebook you can feel, you know? I know I want a hardcover one, but can't decide what color or size). I know you can make some adorable amigurumi with that Honey Bunny Shine yarn! I think your sweater turned out nice, but I am like you, I like oversized 'boyfriend' sweaters; they're just comfier. 😉 Thank you for sharing your life & projects with us! ❤ Meredith
Thank you, Meredith!! I am so glad you love the comfort piggie! They are so cute, soft and fun! I had those advent calendars as a kid where you open each day and get a chocolate. I think they were like $0.50 at the store so easy for my mom to get for her kiddos. It's a lot of fun. And so nice of you to make some for your friends! I was thinking that wool needle would be helpful for amigurumi! That was my first thought, for sure! I don't think I'll use the notebook that I got in the advent since I have so many, maybe I can send that to you? But I see you want a hard cover, let me know! I like the honey bunny yarn a lot! I am going to make the bag with it and the left overs will be something else. And lastly, thank you about the sweater! I am in progress on making it larger, it'll probably be a video coming up! haha, thank you, as always, for watching!! 🧶🤗 💞
Awesome!! There are so many amazing patterns out there! I love MJs patterns and find them to be fairly easy to follow, probably why I make so many of one pattern 😂💞🤗🧶
Yay! Good to see you back, and happy new year! I absolutely empathize with you needing to take a hiatus. My 2023 was.. well, it was sh*t, and I’m happy to see it end too! 🎉 Was awesome to watch you open the advent - I haven’t actually done any of the projects from it yet either as I want to finish a couple I’m working on first (I tend to crochet in short bursts so I’m slow getting through projects), but I’m re-excited now about tackling those soon, and I look forward to your next videos! About the sweater, ouch it sure sucks to realize you’ve messed up so early on and end up having to redo so much of it, but those are the kind of mistakes you learn from, right! And you help us learn by sharing them :)
Yay! Happy to be back! It's nice to know I wasn't the only one who had a sh*t 2023. I mean, I don't want anyone to have a bad year, but it's nice to not feel alone. The advent so awesome! I think better than last year! I hope you enjoyed yours! I'm really excited for the projects and hope to start them soon! I'm working on about five sweaters, but they are going pretty quickly. I'm glad I can share my mistakes with everyone because that is definitely how I learn and a lot of people learn too. I won't be making that mistake again! hahaha Thank you so much for being here!! 💕 🤗 🧶
@@crochetdaybyday yes I loved the advent too! As I’m a relatively new crocheter, what I loved most about it was the opportunity to try some different types of yarns. I’ve only really used cotton and acrylic yarns so far, so I’m super excited to go outside the box. And all the notions and accessories were adorable too! Here’s to a great 2024! 🥂
You know what? I haven't done this in a bit so I completely forgot to link the yarn! Good catch! Here is the link to crochet.com. It's the Palette line: www.crochet.com/yarn/palette Let me know if that works or not, happy to add it to the description too. So many colors! 💕 🤗 🧶
Nice to see you again, Nadeige. Good luck with the job. It's great that you're keeping the crochet dream alive. ❤
Thank you! 😊 Glad to be back, and so happy to keep the crochet dream alive!! Thank you for being here 🤗 💕 🧶
@@crochetdaybyday no problem, you're a joy. 😊🧡
Im so happy you're Back! Beautiful sweater, it looks really cool with it partially wrong side out!!
Thank you so much! It's hard to tell, but up close it was going to bug me, haha 🤗 🧶 💕
So so love seeing you. Congrats on the new job! Sometime seasons of life become unorganized so ya improvise until you can get what you really want.
Thank you so so much! Such great words of wisdom and I feel exactly that way! In the stage of improvising!!🤗💞🧶

Beautiful sweater!! One of my goals for this year is to crochet a garment for myself. I want to do either a sweater or a cardigan.
Awesome!! There are so many amazing patterns out there! I love MJs patterns and find them to be fairly easy to follow, probably why I make so many of one pattern 😂💞🤗🧶

Hi Nadeige 🤗 sooo nice to hang out with you! I actually got the Hobbii Advent this year! 👏🏻👏🏻 check out my playlist if you have time! 🥰🧶🤩
I'll definitely have to check that out! I had no idea what to expect this year, and I think it was better than last years! 💕 🤗 🧶
