This video is how we get graphic design clients from our portfolios. There's an art to designing the perfect portfolio for generating leads and gaining clients, the most important of which is to design a portfolio that serves to educate and inspire potential clients. It's not enough to simply show your logo designs or brand identity, you have to uncover the mysterious back stories and challenges behind each project and share the story!
The key to making more money as a graphic designer is charging more for the same amount of projects. We do this by inviting clients to work with us through our presence online, and through our design work featured in the portfolio that reflects your unique process and standards.

Hi Will and The Team :) I have a question: How do you deal with bad, horrible taste in clients or maybe I should ask how to target ideal clients that resonate with my work and most importantly appreciate it. Somethimes I am thinking what is the point if clients have such horrible taste and doesn't understand or doesn't even care for functionality, basics ect of branding. Thanks!

@@willpatersondesign To be honest, I'm only focused on showing the results, not the process. 🫡 thanks bro
I have a question. Should my case study be a separate website? and how does it affect the way you rank on Google?
Legend
Can someone tell me the canvas size, colour profile, dpi and file format that people generally use for designing logo portfolio's on photoshop
Thanks for this video it came at the right time, does this also apply to freelancers looking for in-house jobs?
Yes, absolutely! A huge part of our hiring process involves looking through portfolios of applicants :)
How do I start as a beginner in logo designing?

Hello sir, As you have a studio and a manpower that together create that portfolio like creating branding process videos but as a freelancer or independent person I have to do everything on my own in that case I can put my best to only the things that I am confident about?
Always post your most confident work - if there are pieces or projects you are not proud of, store them and remember what didn't work for next time. Nothing is a waste of time ❤
Great advice, showing the work you're most confident in is the best option - quality over quantity :)
