I understand that your time in Portsmouth was limited and that you were focusing on the seafront/dockyard areas, but it is a real shame that you missed out Portchester Castle. Roman walls, Saxon Church, Norman Keep, and a Seagate. Also, the original Nelson's monument by Fort Nelson which is lined up as a marker for the harbour entrance. The Square Tower is also pretty good when open, and the ramparts joining it to the round Tower are known as the hot walls locally. Glad you enjoyed it.
Goodness me, a complete cure for insomnia...... Put some life into it people......even my dog fell asleep listening to this mundane drivel. You're on a par with Kier, the most boring man in Britain, Starmer....... Here's a tip, never try to become a Tour Guide.....

Good video with lots of info and good photography, only downside that background music was too loud, and in my view unnecessary.

We agree Portchester Castle is a great place to visit, unfortunately we ran out of time to review it.
