The fact that he’s got so much under his belt and embraces this one role is awesome!! To be a great protagonist you have to have a great antagonist!! Shooter was the guy you loved to hate in this movie because he was great!! Classic movie!!

The best day of my life as a server even though I hated my job, but I was at work and right before I got cut off the floor I was told that I was getting sat and I was like ugh 🤦♂️ really I just wanna go home and sure enough I look at my table and I see this man Aka Shooter McGavin along with my childhood her Bills QB Jim Kelly and the legend himself Dan Marino who came in after a Bills game and man I couldn’t keep my composure I did his impersonations in front him and we all had a great laugh. He even talked to other staff about the movie and how he almost turned it down. All three even took pictures and man that was a great day.

I started excelling in T ball around 4... when I say excel I know it sounds kinda strange cuz I was literally 4... but I did. I started playing on a Legitmate course at age 4/5 ish-. and ever since then I’ve been grinding in both Baseball and Golf making several school teams and now Being a part of a University Golf Squad. needless to say this movie will always be Nostalgic to me, and many others from my Generation
When this movie came out I had a friend beg me to come see this movie with him. I told him, "man, I hate golf I don't want to see a fucking golf movie!" He tells me, "I know, that's why you have to see this movie." I have seen this movie countless times since.
