Recovering from my 3rd knee surgery in the past year. Ill never ride like that again due to some unforseen circumstances throughout this process that has left me pretty disabled. Your video brought me back to the time I did a palm springs 100mile ride that took us deep in the desert. Wasn't too hilly, but def had a calmness to the ride. There was a point where my buddy and I were deep into the zone. He would lead, then I would. We stretched like that for miles. No talking, no gestures, no nothing. Just the road and our grit. Thank you for sharing such an amazing ride. I miss my bike. I miss my life prior to my injuries. I miss it all. Don't take your health and body for granted.
When I was younger, I used to ride down hill a mountain with a group of cyclists at 60+ mph. We also ran through stop signs and traffic lights and got screamed at by drivers. Looking back, I am grateful that I didn't end up dead or paralyzed for my recklessness. For those who are inspired to do the same thing after watching this video, I say don't even try unless you are an experienced rider and know the road really well. Your cool looking helmet is not going to save you from a nasty spill at 65mph or a head on collison with an unexpected vehicle coming at you around the corner. There's a reason you don't see many old dare devils.

I've had too many bike crashes to even approach what he's doing. Crash at that speed and you're either dead or messed up long term. This guy must have supreme confidence in his bike handling skills.
I saw a guy crash going about 30mph. He came out relatively ok but the site of him unconscious in the road makes the hair stand up to this day. I think that was also the last time I rode that fast.
Have you ever encountered a speed wobble when going this fast? I go down on my carbon bike long descents and always seem to get a speed woblle over a certain speed and this happens on totally different bikes for me? I think it must be the way i sit or I have one leg longer than the other or I get tense and then tense up it seems to happen? Any ideas appreciated.
oh, yeah, the death wobbles. It's happened on my giant propel, but never on my cannondale supersix. Scary stuff. Good thing, i do 20x more downhills on my cannondale than my giant...
Doing 55+ mph down a mountain on a road bike I had a rear tube blowout. It was a miracle that I didn't crash, which would have been really, really bad. Since then I moderated my speed a bit.
5:27 65 mph WOW!! Now i'm curious if you have deeper rear wheel like 50-60mm would it make you go even faster? or the handling will be too sketchy if you got cross-wind so rather stay with shallow wheel...?
I’m pretty sure the handling would be fine (especially for rear) because he would have such a tiny yaw angel due to the headwind that he’s producing. It looks like his tires are 32c, I think most aero wheels only go up to 28. So maybe he’s using those wheels because he wants wider tires for better grip

😌
Imagine being so confident in your bike condition so you can lay on the bend in front of the abyss. Amazing
5:32 this shot looks sick as hell, like a super realistic video game. Awesome stuff.
Looks like just cause lol
First man to ever speed on a bicycle; good job man that's a lot of talent and skill!
Crazy how the camera man managed to run along this fast, all the whilst keeping the camera uncannily stable. Kudos to that man.
The handling on this rig is amazing, my bike would have wobbled at 1/2 the speed around some of those turns lol
did you really have 105 km / h? unbelievable! congratulations to the cameraman, he filmed very nicely! 🥇
forgot someone was filming it till you said it 😮
Yes!!! World-class
The whole video was so wholesome, very relaxing combined with the beautiful nature loved it
Masterpiece.
This should be shown to aliens about us
Utterly spectacular, the ambient music fit perfectly. Does anyone know where to find this backing track?
its called Theta to Delta Meditation by Joseph Beg
how do they filmed it? this is so amazing!
the camera man is running behind him of course
@@BL4K_B4BIES hahaha
There's a driver likely
Probably someone on a motorcycle
probably a motorbike with a camera on a gimble
Thank You for the Adventure
Amazing ride in an amazing place. And music is something that fascinates and transports you through time. Fabulous!
Any ideas appreciated.
a longer stem fixed this for me! but it changes the reach of course so took a bit of experimenting (& stretching?) to find a good fit again
oh, yeah, the death wobbles.
So maybe he’s using those wheels because he wants wider tires for better grip
man this was the perfect blend of relaxing and exciting. very cool
Right around 8:00 is a f***ing epic view. The three elements: you, the road and shrubbery flying by, and the mountains just sitting there and not moving.
It’s death to fall at that speed.. scary
This veideo is the most calming video I've watched in a while where someone was doing something crazy. You make this look so damn easy to keep the bike stabalized and running smoothly. I bet you had to change out the bearings after this ride?
fyi music name is Joseph Beg - Theta To Delta Meditation
May both sides of your pillow ever be nice and cold - Thank you!!
I'm on an exercise bike, and recovering from a double cervical arthroplasty.
Thank you for taking us on this beautiful ride 😊
This video made me get into road/gravel riding the perfect video and a piece of art
Damn, I cycle to school on the daily, maxing out at 15-18mph, and THAT feels fast-ish. Can’t imagine how that feels.
I’d figure, feels like you’re moving thru everything super fast while everything around you remains slow yet fast. The music describes is pretty well
