- The Upper Peninsula is a beautiful place to be but so much more in the fall when the colors are at their peak. The birds migrating, the smell of leaves and the wind indicate winter is coming. We got some good projects done while the weather was absolutely beautiful. Camera's can never do justice to the colors of fall. Awesome wood rack ! great meal on the fire to end your afternoon :) , Not sure what you have there for trails or how much snow you get ?, but the freedom you feel when you get out on a sled on a beautiful day, money can't buy, I have nothing but crown land beyond my place so we get out & enjoy life a little :)
